"Oh God, the things I do for friendship. I can't believe I'm doing this. Right, I can do this"

Was the first thing Jeongyeon said when she step foot outside of her house. She gripped on the straps of her backpack, as her ghost friend calmly walked up beside her with hands in his pockets.

"Neighter can I" he agreed, looking around the semi-busy neighborhood streets. It was early in the morning and students from the same neighborhood were on their way to the nearby high school of the town.

Jeongyeon shakily tried to step down the stairs. But seeing so many people, especially her age, made her body think otherwise. So without a second thought, she found herself running back inside, leaving a Clueless Jimin outside. Thankfully, the teenagers walking in front of her house were too preoccupied with each other to notice her retreat.

Shutting the door, the blonde girl leaned her back against it and tried to steady her breathing and racing heart.

'That was a close one' she thought after conquering her almost panic attack. She closed her eyes, heading finding its way against the same door.

"Thought you said you could do it?" the blonde boy mocked, appearing beside her by the door. Jeongyeon shot her eyes up, glaring at the ghost.

She leant away from the door and pounded on it due to frustration. "Aish, shibal. I thought I could do it, I really did" Disappointment lingered through her words, as the situation brought back so many bitter memories from her childhood.

Very bitter memories. Ones that she'd much rather not talk nor think about.

The mocking smirk from Jimin's face faltered the moment he saw how glum his human friend was. He scooted closer, resting a hand on her shoulder in comfort. "Hey, don't beat yourself up for it, jeongs. You're trying your best here. It'll come eventually, okay?"

"Maybe I should think of another way to do it" she pursed her lips thinking hard. It was true tho, if one plan won't work then you gotta think of another. That's how you get through every day. Cause life's nothing but a mix of Plan A's and Plan B's. Am I right?

Jimin fell into thought as well, nodding slowly. "That could be a start, I mean, you don't really have to go to school cause that's just-"

"No, Jim. That's not what I have in mind. I'm still going to school, that's like, the only way for me to get rid of-of whatever this is I have. And the only way I can think of to help you. I just need to find another way to get to school" she explained, before standing up and pacing around in thought.

Jimin stays in his position, boredly watching the girl walk from one place to another. He was starting to get dizzy, so he looked outside the small window just beside the main door.
