"May I help you?"
Jeongyeon's breath hitches, feeling a wave of something nasty hit her chest. It's been awhile since her last encounter with actual people (two days in the real world, a whole week in the house/unseen). And when she thought it wouldn't be anything much to a big deal, Holy hell was she wrong.

It was like middle school all over again. She could vividly remember that horrible day, October 31st, Halloween. The first time she actually 'tried' to go outside (she was actually dragged and forced out of her house by a total of three people), only failing MISERABLY, at her first house for trick or treating.

As much as it hurts her barely an ounce of pride, she could clearly remember having a panic attack when their neighbor opened the door when she rung a bell. And sadly, she dropped to the ground spasming like crazy, right in front of the other kids, fighting to stay conscious as they laughed at her.

That would continue to haunt her for the rest of her life, if she managed to resume her life, after all this or something. But that was a topic she didn't want or pry on just yet, as much as it terrified her.

If only she realized sooner, that this was kinda similar to that case. Then she would've at least used the whole hour she's been standing outside to good use. THEN she would have mentally and physically prepared herself for what would come next.

But I guess we don't get everything we want, now, do we? And that's all behind her, no matter how much you turn the tables. Now, however, is the actual problem.

Cause she's literally stuck, frozen, on the porch doorway, mind blank to utter shit. Jeongyeon stared back at the man probably in his 30s, as the latter waited for her to respond. It was only then, when Jeongyeon realized her situation and managed to grasp a little common sense to snap out of it and pull herself together.

She blinks a few times, feeling her eyes water at how long she hasn't blinked, clearing her throat along with it. "S-sorry, blanked out for a second" She apologizes, fidgeting with her hands.

The man chuckles, shaking his head. "No, it's fine. Happens all the time"
"I'm sorry to disturb you, but I really need to meet someone who is said to be living in this house?" Jeongyeon continues then, not wasting any more time.

The man opens the door wider, shrugging. "Well, I'm the only one who lives here, so, I suppose you're looking for me" He says, unclear but logically sure.

Jeongyeon's eyes visibly sparkle. Coming all the way out here, she didn't know what to expect. Whether the person she was looking for still lived here, or something else opposite to that. What she did know, however, was that, this is a ridiculously big relief.

"Then, I'm sure you're Kim Taehyung, right?"

The man's once bright aura faded into the slowly chilling air, similar to how the sun went down along the horizon. His stature straitens stiffly, along with the frown replacing his blinding smile.

"No, I'm not" He says, stepping away from the frame and slowly closing the door. The girl's face drops at the result, reaching out to stop him. She holds onto the rim, preventing thean from closing it completely.

"Wait!" She says. "I-I don't understand, they–they told me to come here" She looks down, confused, both from the spirits, and because of how the man acted.

The man does stop, looking up towards the girl. "Who told you to come here?" He asks, eyebrow raised.
Jeongyeon feels her lips tighten, almost into a knot. "I–um, I'm not supposed to tell anyone" She says, scratching her head sheepishly.
