When Jeongyeon opens her eyes, she's back inside the house. Specifically, the dining room. Nothing has changed, none were left in uneven places, just as how it was when they left.

She nearly falls to the ground, tired beyond belief, if it weren't for the hand she had on the dining room chair. Her breathing shallows, and deepens, and evens, and quickens. But it stops, upon perception.

Her eyes meet the clock from the left of her vision. 10:12. Only two minutes have passed, she thought. So it's true, the realm is connected to the barriers between the Unseen and the Seen. Delayed by a mere two minutes because of its space zones connecting through time and matter.

Peculiar.

A whirl of wind brushes past her from behind, making her jolt towards the direction. The cloaked figures, the spirits of the house, appear from the sidelines, disappearing into different ways.

She was about to chase after them, when one last cloaked figure appears in front of her. Said spirit takes off their hood, revealing a familiar face, sunmi.

"I'm proud of you, young one" She says, a satisfied smile on her face. "You've proven yourself to be as strong as you show, it astounds us"

Jeongyeon barely replies, still shaken from her previous experience. She looks around, mind knotted in a never-ending loop. She stands straighter, carefully walking towards the kitchen and to a mirror framed door near the pantry.

Her hands touch the bares of her cheeks, seeing the symbol slowly fade away. She titles her head, confused another time. But another feeling surfaces, a nervous one, but also one of pure dread and fear.

Sunmi follows her, standing just behind by a few feet. "They're not Disappearing, don't worry. Just merely hiding under your skin from other eyes" She explains, as if sensing the girl's panic.

Jeongyeon looks back from the glass, meeting her soft gaze once more. "Where's Jimin?" She asks for the umpteenth time, hoping her question could be answered. "Please, I need my best friend to feel safe. I need to know that he's alright"

A solemn look rests on sunmi's features, pitying the human. But moreover fascinated, moved, by her determination to see her friend again. "He resides in the basements, in a blank room there, fighting against the spirit taking over his body"

"Will he get better?" Jeongyeon asks, once agonizing eyes, now a little hopeful.

Sunmi sighs. "This isn't the first time it's happened, it's one of the few downsides that came with being a sacred child. But I have faith in him, he's much stronger than he leads on"

"He is" Whispers the girl, looking down at her bruised shoes. She raises her head after a moments. "Can I see him?"

The spirit hesitates. "I don't think that's-"

"I'm already salted, right?" Jeongyeon interrupts. "So I can fend for myself when things go wrong. Please, I just wanna see my friend"

Sunmi forces herself to not look into the teen girl's eyes, afraid she'd give in. But she did, and that's where her facade falters. She stays silent for a longer moment, before exhaling through her nose. "Very well, but I best suggest you prepare yourself, both physically and mentally.

Jeongyeon nods in a flash, determined to do anything just to see her beloved friend.
