It's morning and dad is making breakfast. Wednesday's are dad's days cause mom has to go the bakery.
Mom is a home baker, she started baking after I was born and it became a business now. She owns a bakery.
Dad is a happy-go-lucky type of person. He is a shrink (psychiatrist). And a very good one I suppose.
Hmmm..the smell of pancakes consumes me. My brother flicks me on the head 'OUCH, what was that for ?'
'That was to wake you cause I need to drop you to school'.
Lance my brother, my sweet brother,is in college and drives home as much as possible (I think it's because he misses home).I finish my pancakes, get my bag and run outside into my brother's car.
We reach school and I get out of the car. Lance shouts behind me "Don't daydream". Uhghh brothers.

And there they are waiting for me.
Theo, Haya and I have been best friends since we were 11.
Well ,they were best friends since childhood. They transferred to our school together. Haya was wearing a FRIENDS t-shirt that said 'unagi' and obviously like the fangirl that I am I asked her who was her fav. She, not knowing what I was talking about understood it was her shirt and said it was Theo's and pointed to him. Theo and I instant became besties. Haya had to watch FRIENDS to get all our references and inside jokes. So here we are 5 years later in high school.
Theo waves and I wave back to them
'Did you hear what Lance said'.
'Of course. And it's the right thing to say'.
'I don't daydream.'
'Sure.'
I hit his arm. 'Okay okay you don't daydream'
'Anywhoo, Theo and I have something to tell you. Come over to my house after school. We can't tell you here.' Says Haya.
'Uhm, kay.'
Weird flex but okay.
We walk to our lockers and I give my bag to Theo to hold it. I'm taking my books out when he's playing with my keychain.
'Stop doing that it's gonna break'. I say.Keeps doing it anyway.
'Theo stop, dude, you're gonna break it.' Says Haya.
'Fiyyynnneee!! I just love the damn thing.'
'No, you don't. You're just jealous that Haya gave it to me. Cause you wuv her, not the keychain'. I say mockingly.
Theo once said he loved her cause she paid for his yoghurt and that's a lot coming from Haya. And I love teasing him.
We walk back to our classes.
Back in eighth grade I had a tiny crush on him. He went to his grandparents house this one summer and when he came back, boy, did he glow up.
