2. Flashback

There's something you should know.

Haya and I ........ we're Cupid's angels. More like recruits. We're known as CRs. (Cuz if we were Eros's recruits we'd be ERs and emergency rooms weren't what we wanted to be.)

It all happened in seventh grade. Theo and Haya were at my house for a sleepover. And we girls decided to summon a spirit *not knowing anything about it,clearly*. Theo being the scared little boy he was went downstairs to hang with Lance.
Being girls we both were the closest in our little trio though Theo and I had a lot in common, but there were times where Theo would know things before me and I don't blame her for not telling me, they knew each other better.
So we switched off the lights and lit a candle ( why did I have a candle you ask , I love scented candles ). That's when it happened, the door slammed shut and the lights were back on and there was lady in front of us. She had pink hair and pale pink skin and a pink flowy gown. She didn't look ghostly at all. We screamed but our voices wouldn't come out.
She said, 'Girls it's okay, I'm Cupid's daughter Voluptas and you two have been recruited as the Cupid's angels.'
'Whatttt'.
Pretty straight forward.
'Cupid as in Eros is getting old so he can't go around making people fall in love. You two and many others around the world are CRs. Your power comes from these rings.' She took two flowers from her corsage and gave them to us. In our hands they became rings. We freaked like hell. "Love should be never meddled with. But your job isn't meddling you should know that. You will only help two people meet, they will fall in love on their own. They are known as potentials. You'll know when you see them. You don't have your full powers, but there will come a time when you'll do. Your powers are something you'll discover. They are unique. Other than CRs no one can see your rings and you can remove them but you won't be able to see potentials. That's all you'll need to know. Farewell".
Poof.
She's gone, just like that.
I stare at Haya. She stares back. I say 'What just happened'. ' Theo and Lance it was a good one you can come out now' says Haya.
No answer.
'I think we are what that pink lady said we are, ..........because she appeared OUT OF THIN AIR!!!' I screamed.
'Calm down gurll, I know I saw her too'.
'Also how can a god get old' I say.
Haya stares like IFKR.

Well that's how that happened. We found our first potentials in school. We saw them walking past each other and their eyes sparked. I immediately knew what to do and so did Haya. We just looked at them and they bumped into each other. They just clicked I guess, they started talking and were walking each other to class.

Haya and I never told anyone about this not even Theo. Being CRs was something we both had and it wouldn't bother us. As in it wouldn't pressure us to make people meet. We would see people outside, stare at them and it went on like that till now. We could do the magicky stuff   without each other. 

The main thing is being CRs doesn't make us us.
