3. We're Dating

I'm on my way to Haya's house wondering what they have to tell me.

I ring the doorbell and Lora answers the door. Lora is Haya's mom. She didn't want me to call her Mrs.Becker.
'Hey Perry, they're upstairs'. 'Perry's here'.
'Thanks, Lora'.

I go upstairs and find them on her bed, sitting really close to each other.
'Heeyy, so shoot'.
They move closer, look at each other and smile and hold hands.
"We're dating'' they both say.
I trip. I legit trip.
'What!!!'
'How, when and how long????'.
'Just two days ago, and we couldn't keep it from you' says Haya.
'No, I mean from when did you like each other?'.
Theo goes 'Well, we just knew you know. It was bound to happen.'
My heart breaks and I feel like crying. Why, cuz he said it was bound to happen.
'Omg, I'm so happy!!! I've shipped you for so long that even Charlie Puth released a new song.'
'You did?' Says Haya surprised.
'From the moment I met you I knew there was something between you two.'
They smile like idiots.

I have a sudden urge to go back home. I feel like I'm third wheeling or something. And I need to tell someone because I'm freaking out.
After an awkward long 5 minutes and staring into space, I say "I've got to get going , dad's cooking."To break this silence.
"OK, see ya at school" says Theo.
I'm pissed now cuz he didn't even look at me.

I go back home angry. And call my soul sis. Marlee.
Who is that, you ask. I mean you thought I was a loner until I met these two didn't you.
Well, Marlee and I knew each other since kindergarten. She left our school in 5th grade to go to a private school cuz her mom got married to a rich dude. She didn't leave Maytown, she just goes to a different school. And basically knows everything about me except me being a CR.

"Bish, it better be good cuz I stopped Drew from coming over." says Marlee. Eww, she didn't have to say that.
"So, Theo and Haya are dating!!"
"Holy,mother forking shirtballs say what"
"I know right and I freakin' said I'm happy for them."
"Why would any sane person say that. But then again you're not sane, but still why would you say that and did you talk to Theo, like , only you two."
"No, I think I'll call him later."
"You better and also Haya, you need to talk to her too."
" Well, she seems kinda distant and duh I'm gonna talk to her ... I mean I didn't expect it."
"Who expects their best friends to start dating, you know you've got to be open to more people in your life."
"Dudette, that was harsh, ew why did I say that."
"I know, also it wasn't harsh, you finally find one guy and you just lost him."
"I didn't call you to diss me, even though it's all true."
"I know Perri, I'm still here if there's too much drama going on in your life. Use your rich best friend."
"Of course, your riches are basically my birth right."
"That's my gurl, be bold you queen. Is this the stuff you wanted to hear."
"Omg, no, do you know me at all..... I miss you bitch."

This call is what keeps me going.
