Damian
We hadn't talked in a few days since the incident at her house and I couldn't lie to you but, I was anxious to see her. Anxious to hold her and anxious to make sure she was okay. Tapping my fingers anxiously on the desk, I listened to the ringing of the phone.
"Hi Damian." Her soothing voice made me smile and I immediately stopped drumming my fingers against the glass of the table.
"Hi sweetheart." I let out a breath.
"Miss me?" She teasingly giggled.
I laughed softly at her teasing, "and so what if I did huh?" I smiled stupidly, rolling my eyes and reminding myself of a stereotypical American high school girl in her bedroom fawning over a boy.
"Well why haven't you visited me Dame?"
I hadn't a proper answer for that question and then I began drumming my fingers against the glass once again, "I wanted to give you some space sweetheart."
I heard a short laugh on the other side of the phone and smiled hearing this, "shut up Damian, if I needed space I would tell you dummy. Call of your plans tonight." She demanded, "I'll make you dinner and before you ask Isa will be with our grandparents."
"Should you be studying tonight sweetheart?" I raised a brow concerned, knowing she wanted to cook me dinner was exquisite but, knowing this was a night we're Isa wouldn't be home meant that Adrianna could study and although I was selfish and wanted her all to myself, I wholly wanted her to succeed at the utmost and with everything happening in her life I just wanted her to succeed and if that meant not being able to spend time with her tonight as I would probably distract her that would be fine with me.
"Shut up Dame, come over and whilst I'm studying you can finish up some work."
"Sweetheart, I'm afraid I may distract you."
"No you won't. I trust you enough not to distract me." I smile, hearing that and wondering how on earth she really thought I wouldn't distract her.
"You won't let me say no, will you?"
"No I won't."
"Fine." I chuckled, "I'll come over." I tapped the screen of the iPad in front of me with a broad smile as I watched Evan saunter in without knocking, looking extremely panicked. I raised a brow at his concerning expression and idly listened to the last mutterings from the beautiful woman, "sorry to cut the conversation so short sweetheart but, there seems to be an emergency."
"You waffle, just say bye weirdo." I heard her snort and I smiled once again.
"See you."
"See you Damey." I set the phone aside and raised a brow at Evan.
"You know you're supposed to knock."
"You couldn't hear my knock, Mr. Lockwood." I raised a brow at the overly confident assistant standing in front of me, "There's some more you should know about her parents." I snatched the iPad away from him, feasting my eyes upon the new information.

I found myself at her door once again and a few hard knocks came down on the door before it quickly swung open with no one on the other side. I watched Adrianna's figure shifting away quietly and I slowly closed the door, neatly knicking off my shoes near the door. I held my iPad with a stack of files in my hand as I walked to the living room, stopping quickly as I saw everything arranged on the floor; multiple textbooks were open and highlighters and different coloured pens lay around with sheets of paper scattered. She really liked to work on the floor, didn't she? I smiled seeing all the hard work my girl was putting in, who didn't love an intelligent woman?
