Third Person POV

"Bye now!" Saint said to Joss, moving away from Joss' arm that was carelessly slung across Saint's shoulder, "It was nice meeting you."

"The pleasure was mine," Joss replied, flashing Saint a bright smile before walking away.

Saint started walking towards his car but stopped in his tracks when he saw Perth standing beside his own car, his dark frown a bit scary and if his glare could kill, Saint would have been deader than dead.

Saint turned on his false bravery mode and determinedly started walking again towards Perth.

"H...hi, sweetheart," Saint addressed Perth when he got within Perth's earshot. Saint wasn't able to keep his voice steady enough.

Saint's heart was thudding so hard against his chest that he felt his shirt was actually moving a centimeter or two forward.

"Don't sweetheart me, you remorseless cheater," Perth spat out his words.

"W...what are you talking about, hon?" Saint asked a little nervously.

"Don't hon me either," Perth said, "no wonder you didn't want me to meet up with you here! You didn't want me to catch you meeting up with your secret lover here!"

With those words, Perth climbed into his car and revved it up and with a loud screech, sped out of the gym's parking lot.

Saint quickly climbed into his own car and tried to chase after Perth's car.

Just a few seconds later, he heard a loud crash!

Saint was in a hysterical fit.

It was Perth's car that crashed! He had crashed straight into a lamp post in the street! When Perth had made the turn, he had not swerved wide enough to avoid the lamp post.

Things were in a blur after that. The police came, the paramedics came, curious onlookers came. Saint could only watch helplessly as the paramedics loaded an unconscious bleeding Perth onto a gurney and then into an ambulance.

Saint watched the ambulance speeding away, his vision getting cloudier and cloudier as his tears flowed freely down his cheeks.

Saint walked back to his car with unsteady legs. He somehow made his way back to his and Perth's condo unit.

With trembling fingers, Saint tapped on Perth's mom's number.

"Hi, sweetheart, how are you doing?" Perth's mom greeted Saint.

"What's wrong, hon?" Perth's mom started to get concerned when she did not get a reply from Saint but heard him sobbing on the other end.

"Did you and Perth get into a fight?" Perth's mom seemed to know her son very well.

"No, no, mom," Saint was still crying into the phone, "P...Perth got into a car accident!"

"Oh my gahd," Perth's mom's voice started to quiver, "what hospital is he in?"

"I... I don't know, mom," Saint said, "everything happened so fast. I couldn't even approach the paramedics to ask them to what hospital they were bringing Perth."

"Okay, where are you right now?" Perth's mom asked Saint.

"I'm back at our condo unit," said Saint.

"Okay, I will be calling the hospitals in the city to find out which emergency room took him in, and then I will call you once I find out," Perth's mom said, "stay where you are and wait for my call, okay, hon?"

"Y...yes, mom," Saint said, back to crying once more.

The paramedics had brought Perth to the hospital nearest the crash site. It was the Bangkok Community Hospital (A/N: This is just a made up name. Not sure if it exists.)

Luckily for Perth, he had not suffered life threatening injuries, but he sustained a wide gash on his left temple and a left knee injury which would leave him unable to walk until it healed.

The efficient doctor and nurses in the emergency room quickly treated Perth's deep and wide gash to keep him from losing too much blood and the emergency room orthopedist applied a cast on Perth's left knee.

The ER nurse inserted an IV line into Perth's left wrist to start a preventive antibiotic treatment and piggybacked a strong liquid prescription pain medication. If Perth remained unconscious over twelve hours, she was going to piggyback some dextrose solution on the IV bag as well to keep him from getting dehydrated.

Fortunately, Perth, being a healthy young man, managed to regain some consciousness after he was wheeled into a room on the third floor of the hospital.

Perth's eyes fluttered open when he felt someone taking his hand and squeezing it.

Through blurry vision, Perth tried to focus on the image of the person who was standing beside him and squeezing his hand so lovingly.

"S...Saint?" Perth asked in a weak voice.

"No, honey, it's me, Amanda!"
