For those who might not know her, she is Neen Suwanamas. She's a Thai actress who has played various supporting roles in several BL series like Sotus S and Theory of Love.

Neen's POV

I apologized to my housekeeper for not having time to stop and eat the breakfast which I knew she had painstakingly put together for me before rushing out of the house and to my car and recklessly driving it out of the driveway and into the street, almost hitting an oncoming car and justifiably earning a prolonged angry honk from its driver.

Before long I reached the entrance to my desired motorway and then I was off, weaving in and out of the lanes, trying not to crash into any of the cars whose drivers were just like me, trying to get to their individual destinations in the quickest amount of time.

On my part, I needed to be at the mall where one of the pharmacy branches which my parents own, out of several other branches around the country, was located.

The reason I needed to be there quickly was because the manager of that branch had alerted me about a customer ranting about a medication that she had been promised would be ready for pick up but was not yet available. The manager was having a hard time dealing with the customer and her threats and had asked me to come and help to calm her down.

I quickly parked my car in my designated spot in the mall's parking lot.

I was barely through the door of the pharmacy when I heard the raised voice of a woman, spouting a steady stream of expletives.

I took a long deep breath before walking in the direction of the voice.

"Good morning, everyone!" I said out loud, loud enough to drown her voice, and make her stop in midstream of her rant.

She turned to glare at me and I was about to glare back at her but got distracted by her otherworldly kind of beauty.

"Good morning, ma'am," I said once more, but in a hushed awed voice.

"Who are you?" she asked, her voice sounding uncertain.

I extended my hand to her. She did not take it but continued to look at me, with an undecided look on her face.

"My name is Neen," I replied, withdrawing my hand that had been left extended in midair. "I am part of the management of this pharmacy. You wanna come with me to my office in the back so that we can thresh out your concern?"

"We don't have to," she replied. The hostility was back in her voice. "I just wanna know why my medication is not available at the time and day that I was informed I would have it."

"I understand why you would be upset," I said in a tone meant to placate, "I would react exactly the same as you and I'm so sorry that this has happened. We got word from the manufacturing company very late last night that the active ingredient needed for your medication is not in supply at this time. We should have notified you first thing this morning but failed to do so. Please accept my heartfelt apology. Could I offer you some kind of compensation for the trouble that we have caused you?"

She did not reply right away. I noticed that she was staring at my face, her eyes moving down to my lips, her lips slightly open.

Then I noticed her shaking her head, as if to shake off some unwanted thought.

"Well......" she started to say at last, "maybe you could offer me some breakfast. I haven't had any breakfast yet and I'm starting to feel hungry."

"I most certainly can and will!" I exclaimed, not bothering to hide my excitement and anticipation of the opportunity of spending time with and getting to know this most lovely and gorgeous creature standing in front of me.

"Come on," I said, grabbing her wrist, "let's go to my car. I know a cozy breakfast place near the waterfront. It's a bit of a drive so I hope it will not eat into your day's itinerary."

"My time is my own," she said dismissively.

I wanted to ask her what that meant but I felt that it was too soon to ask her such a question. Instead, I guided her to where my car was parked.

"Hawt and impressive," I heard her saying from behind me.

"My car or me?" I asked.

She laughed out loud, "Both I would say."

"Why, thank you, best compliment I have heard in my whole life," I replied and I meant it.

I pressed my key to unlock the doors of my candy red Ford Mustang convertible and motioned for her to get inside and make herself comfortable.

As soon as I settled in my seat, she extended her hand to me.

"I'm Amanda," she said, "I'm sorry for being rude to you earlier."

I took her hand saying, "I don't remember what happened earlier. Let's go and pacify our stomachs. Mine has started grumbling. I didn't have time to have any breakfast either. I got a frantic call from my manager early this morning, urging me to come quickly to the pharmacy because some lunatic was raising hell about her not getting her medication."

She crossed her arms across her chest and gave me a pout. It made her look attractive. Very, very attractive, I would add.

"I thought you just said that you didn't remember what happened earlier," she said.

"You look so lovely when you pout," I could not help verbalizing my inner thoughts.

She fixed her gaze on me. For a long time. It was starting to make me feel self conscious. I kept my eyes on the road but I could feel her eyes traveling from my face down to the rest of my figure. I hoped that I would not crash into any motorist while I waited for her to say something.

Finally she spoke up.

"You are an extremely alluring woman, Neen. Are you single?"

My tires made an ear piercing screeching sound as I stepped heavily on my brakes, avoiding the car in front of me by inches.
