Chapter 15: New Faces

- 50 Minutes Later, at the Wanderer's Cave -

After fighting off some monsters that showed up out of nowhere, Goku, Plutia and Noire were still wandering within the Wanderer's Cave, still walking their way towards the nation of Lowee.

(GT) Bandaged Goku: Man... We've been walking around and fighting off monsters for a while now... Hey Noire, are we there yet?

Goku asked with his hands behind his head.

Plutia: I'm sooooo sleepy...

Plutia said with a sad expression.

Noire: We crossed the border way back there. We should hit a city soon, so... Crap, stop!

Noire shouted as she grabbed Goku by the back of his Gi and grabbed Plutia by her collar and quickly dragged them behind a big rock to hide behind. 

(GT) Bandaged Goku: Huh, What's wrong?!

Goku asked confused and surprised by the sudden grab.

Plutia: Urk... I can't breathe...

Plutia said wide eyed.

Noire: Stop being dramatic and hush! There's a patrol unit up ahead.

Noire quietly as she poked her head out a little bit and saw a guard looking around the area. After a few seconds, Goku and Plutia decided to do the same and saw what Noire saw.

(GT) Bandaged Goku: Oh, I see what you're talking about. It's just like the people you have wandering around in this cave, huh?

Goku said quietly.

Plutia: Um, so how has that funny guard of yours we met been doing...?

Plutia asked quietly with a smile.

Noire: I dunno. I haven't heard from him since I fired him. Let's concentrate on this for now.

Noire said nonchalantly.

(GT) Bandaged Goku: Don't worry. He doesn't seem very strong, so we can take him.

Goku said with a confident smile.

Noire: What? No. I'd rather avoid making a scene. There's just one guy, so we can probably slip by... When I give the signal, we run past him and straight out of the cave towards the city. You two got that?

Noire said seriously.

(GT) Bandaged Goku: Um, okay...?

Goku said not understanding why they shouldn't fight, but didn't question it.

Plutia: Buuuut... I'm really slow...

Plutia said sadly.

Noire: Don't worry about that. When I give the signal, just run as fast as you can, alright?

Noire said still watching the guard.

(GT) Bandaged Goku: Are you sure?

Noire: Yes I'm sure.

Noire said still watching the guard, waiting for the right moment.

(GT) Bandaged Goku: Alright...

Goku said as he got into a position, getting ready to run. After a couple seconds, the guard turned around, now facing away from where the three was.

Noire: He's not facing us. Now, ru-

But before Noire could finish her sentence or start running, Goku ran past the guard and disappeared within the distance of the cave at amazing speed and not stopping, leaving Noire and Plutia still behind the rock as the both looked wide eyed for a few seconds.
