I'm back, baby. Now, here is another chapter. But anyway, thanks for the support and enjoy this chapter of Meeting an Afton. I don't own everything. Scott Cawthon owns some stuff.
Chapter 5
Christopher gently lead Elizabeth into the kitchen. He then told her her to stay where she was and quickly ran downstairs. A few seconds later, he came up with a small table and two chairs. He placed the objects onto the floor.
"Have a seat, dude." Christopher told her. "I know the table is a little small but it will still suffice." Elizabeth still looked unsure as she looked at the table. Christopher noticed this and put her arm around her shoulder and gently guided her to the small table. "Don't worry. The chairs will hold our weight. If you want, I'll sit with you." Elizabeth just took seat in silence and just stared at her peanut butter sandwich. Christopher just sighed and took the seat next to her. Christopher began eating his sandwich, he suddenly felt a small tug on his shirt. He turned and saw it was Elizabeth.
"Yeah, dude?" Christopher asked.
"Um, do you have any sauerkraut?" Elizabeth asked quietly. Christopher just staring at her in confusion.
"We should have some in the fridge." Christopher answered. "Why do you ask?"
"Um, I kinda like it on my peanut butter sandwich." Elizabeth answered. Christopher gave her a weird look which caused Elizabeth to get uncomfortable. "I know that it sounds disgusting, but it's something that my dad used to make." Elizabeth looked down at the floor and let out a small whimper which caused the attention of Vanessa and William. They took a quick look into the kitchen and saw that Elizabeth was trying her hardest to fight back tears. Before the parents could do anything, Christopher quickly wrapped the girl up in a hug.
"It's okay, dude." Christopher consoled her. "I'll go get the sauerkraut." Christopher walk to the fridge to grab the sauerkraut. He then returned with the item in question and went to hand it to the young girl. However, much to Christopher's confusion, the orange haired girl seemed hesitant. This also concerned Vanessa and William. Elizabeth asked for the sauerkraut, yet she wasn't accepting it. She just stared at it with an uncertain look on her face. Christopher was also concerned about this. She seemed to be in a trance. So he decided to snap her out of it.
"Hey, Liz? You okay?" Christopher asked her. That seemed to snap her out of whatever trance she was in. Elizabeth nodded and accepted the sauerkraut which was then added to her sandwich. Ask Christopher watched Elizabeth eat, he couldn't help but notice something about the way Elizabeth was staring at the sauerkraut. The look on her face that she had when she stared at it was a look that he had seen several times in the Afton house. Mainly when Charles on the warpath where when Goldie was in a bad mood. The look on her face was undoubtedly fear. But that just confused the young rocker more. Why would she be afraid of something that she was so used to eating? The more he thought about it, the realization set in. Elizabeth wasn't afraid of the sauerkraut. She was afraid of the hand that was holding it. Now Christopher knew that Elizabeth wasn't afraid of him, but she was afraid of something. And he had a feeling that It had something to do with the last foster home she was in.
Something happened to Elizabeth at her last home. Christopher thought. And I'm almost afraid to find out what.
