So, this is chapter 9. Like I said, this is a very important chapter so I hope you like it. Also, check my other fanfics "Syngenesophobia", "Evilyn's Story" and "Crazy Stories With Elizabeth And Her Friends". Now, I don't own everything. Five Nights at Freddy's is owned by Scott Cawthon and most characters are owned by me, but some aren't.
Chapter 9
As the days went by, Elizabeth showed signs of improvement, though they were very small. One thing that the family noticed was that Elizabeth was starting to get involved more around the house. The first case was a few days ago. The boys were doing their chores and since Elizabeth was still getting used to things, she didn't have any. As Elizabeth walked through the house, she noticed that all the garbage cans were overflowing. This was something that confused her. Alex, who was doing the dishes with Michael and Adrian, noticed Elizabeth's expression.
"Hey, Elizabeth." Alex greeted. "Something up?"
"Uh, who takes out the garbage?" Elizabeth asked. The three boys exchanged glances, trying to figure out how to answer the question.
"Well, taking out the garbage isn't really anyone's job." Michael answered.
"Yeah. Usually, Mom just randomly picks one of us to take it." Adrian explained.
"Oh, I see." Elizabeth said while staring at the garbage can.
The boys then went back to doing the dishes. A few seconds later, they heard grunting. They turned around and saw Elizabeth pulling the garbage out of the trash can. The boys watched with shock as Elizabeth walked around the house and going into each room that contained garbage cans. Soon enough, all the boys watched in awe as Elizabeth continued to collect the trash around the house. Elizabeth then took the trash out to the curb and then went around the house and quickly replaced the garbage bags in each can while the family looked on with awe.
The second case was the day after that. Goldie was in the living room texting Nightmare when he noticed Elizabeth hesitantly walking up to him. She looked a little nervous, but also determined.
"Hey, Elizabeth." Goldie greeted kindly. "Do you need something?" He noticed that Elizabeth looked a little nervous, so he decided to give her some encouragement. "It's okay, Elizabeth. Like I said when you moved in, feel free to ask me anything." Elizabeth then took a deep breath and looked up at the seventeen year old.
"Um, can you take me to the comic book store?" Elizabeth asked nervously. "I, uh, talked to Emma a couple days ago and she told me that every week the comic book store cells the new instructions of Building Robotics." She then stopped as she started to rub her arm, which the boys noticed that she did that when she was nervous. "But if you're busy, I understand."
"No, Elizabeth, it's okay. I'm not busy. I'll take you to the comic book store." Goldie told her gently. He then gently led her to Vanzilla and after convincing Elizabeth that she didn't have anything to fear when it came to the minivan. An hour later, the two returned home with Elizabeth carrying her new Building Robotics comic in her hands.
"Thanks, Goldie." Elizabeth said with a smile.
"You're welcome, Elizabeth." Goldie said kindly. With that, Elizabeth took her comic to her room leaving Goldie in the living room with a small smile on his face.
While Elizabeth did seem to be getting better, she was still shy. One thing that the family noticed was that Elizabeth didn't like to be in large crowds. They first noticed this when they decided to go to the movies.
