A Fresh Start

Chapter 27

Hayes's POV:

Neveah and Savannah invited all of us to the mall before the event. So far, Dalton,Cole,Dana,Nash,Cam,Gabe,Will, and Rose was going. I said yes, because...my girlfriend is going,so...Anyway, I see Rose and Nova dressed the same,Neveah and Savannah also. Me and Nash are to, along with Dalton and Cole matching and Dana and Will.The others stayed back to get ready fo the event.We get there and split up, of course the couples are together, then Nash and Cam, and Dana and Gabe,I know Gabe wanted to be with Nova, but I'm pretty sure they are dating.

"What do you wanna do?"I ask.

"I don't care,wbu?"She asked as we passed the Vans store. I saw the PERFECT vans, but decided against getting them, causeof the price.I look to see Rose looking at the exact same pair.

"Don't"I say knowing what she's planning.

"Okay."She says and walks away.We keep walking till we crss a jewelry store. I go in and Rose says she has to go to the bathroom.I nod, and she leaves. I walk around until I see the perfect thing.I buy her the gift and walk out.I see Rose has a bag, and shesees I have one to.

"What's in there?"She asks.

"What's in there?"I ask mimicking her.She rolls her eyes.

"A gift for you."She says.

"Same."I respond.I hand her the bag andshe hands me her.When I look inside, I see the vans I was looking at earlier.

"I told you not to!"I say.She just smirks and opens hers.She picks up the little box and opens to see my gift: A ring on a necklace, but thesone on the ring is her mom's birthstone,and engraved on it is:'You are the strongest girl in he world,I love you and always will,Hayes.'She Givesme a hug and tears lin her eyes.

"Awe don't cry baby girl."I say and wipe away the tears.I give hera quick kiss, grab her han and lead herto the group.Everyone has bought something,except Nash and Cam, who took the opportunity to prank Cole by drenching him in french fry grease,oil,water,and some mysterious luquid,don't ask me how they got it, but they did,and he was pissed.Nova kissed his cheek and his face softened a bit but he still said.

"I'm gonna kill you."

By this time, everyone was laughing.Before we got into the limo, the driver put down like three towels for Cole to sit on, when we saw this, it made us laugh even more!Cole kept glaring at Nash and Cam,and they kept laughing.I noticed Gabe staring down Cole, and if looks could kill,Cole would be sx feet under by now.What is up with them?

Rose's POV:

Me and Nova get dressed and we look like literal twins!We start laughing  and wait to go down.When it's time, we walk out, and Cole and Hayes come walking towards us,but Cole walks up to me,and Hayes to Nova,we start laughing and point at the other,it took them a few seconds, but they finally understood and switched.

"Sorry." They say.

"It's okay, Doof!"We both say an laugh again.This girl could be my next best friend!We go down to event, and Hayes is just in time for the meet and greet.IM5 and the girls just hung out, the couples together which left me out.I sat on the couch and started playing on my phone,until someone took it from my hands.

"Hey!Giveit back!I almost beat my high score on Flappy Bird!"I defend and try to snatch my phone back from David.

"Flappy Bird,really?"He asks raising one eyebrow.

"It's fun."I defend and reach for my phone again,but he raises it higher.I roll my eyes and sigh.

"Please?"I ask and hit him with the puppy dog face.This should be a fun night.
