A Fresh Start

Chapter 39

Hayes's POV:

Neveah just broke up with Dalton, and a nurse comes out with news about Rose. Everyone stands.

"Rose Winter has just slipped into a coma, right now, we have no idea when she will wake up."The nurse said.I can't believe it. My world, my life, my love, is gone. Or at least not awake. Why is this happening?! Why is this happening to her, to me , to us?! I am so mad! I'm sad! I just want her back! I pace back and fourth with my hands balled up into fists. I punch the walll and everyone jumps. Savannah, Neveah, Nova, Cole, Aaron, Taylor,Will, Jack, and Jack are all in shock. The rest of us Nash, Cameron, Gabe, Dalton, Dana, Matt, and I are all mad. No, we're passed mad, we are PISSED. Not at any one in specific, just mad.

"Why?!Why does this have to happen?!" I yell.

"No. This isn't happenin it's all just a twisted dream."Savannah blurts.

Why can't anything go right?

Nash's POV;

MY SISTER IS IN A HOSPITAL BED UNCONCIOUS! HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO BE CALM?! Hayes punched a wall, Gabe is going Balistic, Cameron looks like he's going to kill someone, same goes for Matt and Dana.  I run outside and stat screaming. My little sister could be gone for good, how is everyone else like Savannah and Cole so calm? Ugh! Why can't everything be back to normal?

Rose's POV:

I open my eyes to see white. All white. I can hear doctors and nurses speaking around me but I can't see anything.

"She is experiencing a coma from the shock."One doctor said. Are they talking about me? They have to be talking about me! Last thing I remember, a girl was in my room, telling me really rude things, Iknew her, I know I knew her, I just can't put a name to the face. Ugh! I just want to remember! I want to remember my life before this hospital bed! I hear my room door open, a lot of peopel come in, and the door closes. I want to open my eyes and see, but I can't, I can't move any of my body.

"Why did this have to happen to her?!"Someone yells. I know that voice!

"It's not happening!It's a joke! It has to be!"Another person yells. First off, it IS happening! Can't you see me? I'm very well not up and walking around! I keep trying to move but nothing's working!!! I starts to scream! Wait if I can hear my, why can't they?

"Hello?!" I scream.

"Hello! I'm here! I'm not gone! I'm right here!" Ugh! That's it! I'm done! I don't want to be her, not remembering how I got here. I walk and walk until I come to a window. I look outside it an see three little girls and one little boy. They're playing in a treehouse. Who are they?The seem familiar! Wait, I remember! That's me, my sisters, and my brother! Mikenna, Dakota, Andrew and me! We were playing in our treehouse in Virginia that day! Before I can walk to the other window, everything white fades and my hospital room comes into full view. A tall boy with peircing blue eyes, I recognize him, he looked sick before, comes up to me.

"Rose! You're awake!"e says and a brunette boy who looks like a celebrity, Justin Beaver, I think, rushes out, probably to get the nurse.

"Yes, but I have a question."I say, everyone looks at me.

"Who are you?"I ask.

"R-rose, it's m-me H-hayes."He explains. Hayes?That name rings a bell. Ugh! Why can't I remember?!

"I'm sorry, I know I know you, but I can't remember."The nurse busts in the door and kickseveryone out.  groan and lay back down. Tears start streaming down my face. The nurse asks me if I want any water. I say no, all I want is to remember. Before I know it, I'm asleep.

Savannah's POV;

This isn't happening. This Isn't happening. This isn't happening! I keep teling myself that. She will wake up. She will! Ugh! The nurse tells us we can go see her. Hayes rushes in there, us following closely behind. I see her laying lifeless on the bed.

"Why did this ave to happen to her?!"Gabe yells.

"It's not happening! It's a joke!It has to be!"Cole yells. But this IS happening. My best friend is lying unconcious on a bed.
