A Fresh Start

Chapter 40

Hayes's POV:

After the nurse kicked us out, we waited. Eventually, the nurse came out and told us we could visit her. Instantly, Nova stood up and stopped peope from moving.

"Everyone!!"SHe yelled, everyone looked her way."I know how to get her to remember us. My brother had a head injury, and I got him to remember his grlfriend within a week.I think I can do it faster this time, if I start off now, with just me and Hayes."I look at her confused, why just me and her?Why can't anyone else come? I follow her into Rose's room, but Rose's eyelids were closed.

"She's in a coma again."I assumed. She has to be, with everything going on, that's the only explanation. I gt the feeling that I'm gonna barf again, so I rush into the bathroom. I got by the toilet,and, well, you know. When I came ou of the bathroom, Rose was a wake and having a normal conversation with Nova. I felt the color rush back to my face. I couldn't help myself any longer.

"Rose!I love you sooo much!" I expect her to say it back for some reason.

"I'm sorry, I still have no clue who you are, maybe you could coe back later, I want to talk to Nova,I sorta know her only right now."I could feel the color that recently returned, retreat again. I rush straight to th bathroom and repeat the earlier events.I could hear Nova tell Rose my name. I just can't believe the love of my life can't even remember my name. She tells Rose about how we met, our relationship, how it ended, and how I apologize. I can't believe she eavesdropped! I come out of the bathroom and look at Rose. She is looking at me symphathetically. What she said next broke me.

"Get out and let everyone else in to introduce themselves,two at a time."She gestured towards me and Nova. Nova and I left, but when we got outside, she spoke up again.

"Everyone go in, two at a time. Introdce yourself, tell her when you me, and tell her your favorite memory of the two of you together, and describe it to her. Don't tell anyone outside of your group what you told her. The groups, in order, are as follows, Savannah and Nash, Taylor and Cameron, Matt and Carter, Aaron and Shawn, both Jacks, Gabe and Cole, Dana and Dalton, Will and Neveah. Then Hayes and I will go."She explains as Savannh and Nash rush in.

Nash's POV:

I rush in with Savannah and I see Rose patiently waiting, yet confused when she saw us.

"Hi Rose, I'm Nash, we met a year or two ago when you moved to North Carolina, you were dating my brother, Hayes. I love you like a sister.My favorite memory with you is when you and I threw water balloons at Hayes and his friends and you chasing me around the backyard with the hose."I say. Savannah takes a deep breath before starting.

"I'm Savannah, we met at school, and you became one of my best friends fast. My favorite memory with you was at your sleepover, when you me and the girls turned each other into human pizzas!You just sat there and laughed while the rest of us talked about how delicious we looked."Se laughed, Rose looked more comfortable with us and laughed along

We left so the next group could come in.

Cameron's POV:

I was nervous to go into Rose's room. She doesn't remember me and I don't want her to hate me. Me and Taylor took deep breaths and walked in.

"Hi I'm Cameron. I met you a month after the Grier boys, Nash and Hayes, you became my little sister, and you called me Camy. My favorite memory of you was the day you helped me scare the boys by hiding behind bushes in the park and I said you got kidnapped. They were sooo worried! Also,the day you spent the night at the boys' house and me and you stayed up watching ANYTHING with Kevin Hart in it."

"Imma Taylor. I met you when you and Hayes came to MAGCON. My favorite memory was when we we had a nerf gun war throughout the hotel, and you were on my team. We kicked butt!"He laughed. They high fved. This day is gettng better.We leave and Matt and Carter rush in.

Carter's POV:

The girl I once loved is sitting in the hospital bed and Matt and I rush in.

"I'm Carter. I met you at MAGCON. I used to have a crush on you. My favorite memory of you was when we played volleyball on the beach. You got so into the game, and when you lost, you chased me into the water and tackled me. That was a good day."I sigh.

Matt's POV:

"I'm Matt the Dinosaur. I met you the day before we left for MAGCON and we are really close. My favorite memory with you was at one of the meets, you came on stage, jumped on my back, and yelled 'look!I'm riding a dinosaur!'"

She is really fun, I can't believe this happened to us. Just as we are leaving, Aaron and Shawn bust in te room.

Shawn's POV:

"I'm Shawn and I met you at MAGCON. We are best friends because you're amazing and I love you.My favorite memory was me and you singing 'Cameron Dallas is my boyfriend' you had his face between your hands the whole time and we were all laughing. At the end, you kissed his cheek, and walked away like nothing happened."That was an amazing day.

Aaron's POV:

"I'm Aaron, we met at MAGCON, and my favorite memory was when we played hide and seek in the hotel, an you dragged me to a nearby park. We sat on the swings and laughed all night."I shyly say.

Jack J's POV:

"I'm Jack Johnson, we met at MAGCON, and my favorite memory with you was sitting next to each other texting each other,looking up, and making faces at each other."

Jack G's POV:

"I'm Jack Gilinsky and we also met at MAGCON. My favorite memory was playing chicken in the water, and you kept kicking me."I laugh, and we leave.

Rose's POV:

Many people came in and I remembered more each time. Espcially after Neveah and Will came in. I remembered everything.

"Can you bring Hayes in here?"I blurted.Soon, Hayes is here. I get up, rush towards hm and pull him in for a kiss.

"I love you, Rose."

"I love you two Hayes."

Gabe busts in.He picks me up in a hug and spins me around. I love these people.
