Rose's POV:
It has been a few weeks since the call with Gabe, and my boys and girls are here again!Hayes has tried to talk to me, but I keep blowing him off cause I dont want to hear the excuses, because I know I'll fall for them, and most importantly... HIM again.I am currently getting ready to play yet another game for softball.I get dressed in my school's jersey, I chose number 22, black softball pants, red and white camo knee high socks,black shoes, and I pull my straightened hair back into a ponytail and secure it with a red and white hair tie bow.I grab my bag and walk out. I run up to the field and see EVERYONE!I scream, and am engulfed in a monsterous group hug.After we realease, I put on the black face chalk and go out to play the game, it's a home game, so they bat first.

That was amazing! I hit three home runs!I am so excited and see my friend, Conner, on the sidelines.I run to him, jump into his arms, and he presses his lips to mine.I kiss back, making him smile into the kiss.We separate, and I jump off.
"Did you win?"I asked him, he's on the football team with.... Hayes.
"Yea!We kicked butt! And I made sure to score you a touchdown, the winning touchdown, may I add."He laughs.
"Oh really?"I say sassily.
"Yup!"He says cockily.I laugh at his stupidity.He grabs my hand, and I lead him back to my other friends, half of them look shocked.
"What?"I ask.
"Who's this?"They respond, gesturing towards Conner.
"Guys, meet Conner Franta,Conner, meet..."I continue on introducing everyone.I might have a small crush on Conner.
Conner's POV:
I know Rose has a crush on me. But, trust me, I am ONLY messing with her head. That's me, school player. I mean, she's pretty cute, smart, funny, and talented,but that doesn't matter. The only reason I am going out with her is to take back the 'king player' card back from Hayes.He got it after everyone found out about the whole Madison Meyers, Rose, and Haylie Franklin thing.Ugh!
"So you and Rose, huh?" boy, Gabe I believe, asks, I see Rose blush, and I smirk, trying to hide it. I look back and see the boys staring at me with looks that would make a lion tremble in fear.They ask to speak with me, and I agree. I walk with them to the, now empty, football field.
"We know what you're doing."Dalton says, his jaw locking.I look around and see the boys surrounding me, fists balled up, and jaws locked.
"What are you talking about?"I ask, with a smirk playing at my lips.
