Running From You (SEQUEL To Love Hurts)

Chapter 7

Laura P.O.V

I saw the nurse, she was talking on my phone. It was Louis again, he must be nearly here! I'm so excited to see him, Harry's coming. I'm so scared though. Jai's coming too i don't know what i'm going to say. This is such a long birt- AHHHH. OWWWW! This so painful! I clutched the barries on the side of the bed breathing heavy. "It's okay keep breathing, in, out, like this." The nurse told me. I nodded panting. 

Once i'd calmed down she smiled and said, "It's close, the next one will be in around two minutes, and you're going to have to do a big push for me." I shook my head, "No! It can't come until Louis get's here!"I screamed. "Calm it's okay, breath, stay calm, don't worry, the main thing we need to do is get this baby out of you." The nurse assured me. I nodded, closing my eyes.

I opened my eyes suddenly hearing the door fly open, Jai. His eyes met mine, they were red and puffy. He'd been crying. He ran over to my side and held my hand, and kissed it. I smiled, he whispered to me " I'm sorry. Okay, i don't care if the baby isn't mine, i'm here 100% for this birth, for you." I nodded, smiling, i couldn't reply, not in this much pain.

I squeesed his hand hardly, screaming out in pain. "Okay, now i'm gonna need you to give me a big push okay!" The nurse told me, i nodded panting for breath. She nodded at me and i screamed, pushing. "Just a bit more!" someone shouted, i looked up and saw Louis and Harry in front of my bed, the other boys behind them. 

A different nurse ushered them out of the room except for Louis and Harry. They rushed to my other side as the nurse looked at them confused. She sighed then noticed i was still in pain, "Right, okay one more big push for me!" I screamed pushing in pain. I breathed heavy panting fastly, as i heard the cries of a baby. The nurses were rushing around and the tears were streaming down my face.

"Can i see my baby?" i asked quietly.

One of the nurses walked over to me, "I'm sorry, we just need to check everything is okay." I nodded, and worry rushed over body. 

"IS MY BABY OKAY? WHAT'S GOING ON?!" I cried.

They ignored me. Surrounding my baby. I cried, "Shush, It's okay. No need to worry. They're just making sure the baby's okay!" Louis whispered to me. I nodded.

A few minutes later, a nurse came over with my baby in her arms. " Congratulations, It's a boy." She started passing him over to me. "I'm sorry about the wait, we just had to take a wipe of his sweat, for the dna test of the father. May we take a pluck of hair, from each of you both. For the test?" She mumbled slightly. 

They both nodded, pulling a hair from their heads, placing it in little bags and passing it to the nurse. "I'll send these off, you will get them as soon as possible." She told us before leaving the room. I stroked my baby's head, and kissed it. "He, he's beautiful" Harry whispered. 

I nodded through my tears. I started whispering to him. He was so beautiful.

Jai P.O.V

I stared at him, the beautiful boy infront of me. I hope he's mine. But i think he'll be Harry's. Her and him look perfect together. Harry and Laura. I thought i loved her, but not as much as he does. They belong with each other, Laura is so perfect yet fragile. And i know he's hurt her, but she deserves him. If this baby is mine, i'll love it and be there for him, but i can't be with Laura. I dont love her like he does.

Laura P.O.V

"What should his name be?" I whispered, not looking up from my baby's face. "Niall" "or Liam." "Or ZAYN!" 3 voices argued. I giggled looking at them, "Boys we cant call them after you. I can't choose one of you, it wouldn't be fair." I started, i then sighed and said "Are the girls coming?" the boys nodded, "Traffic." Liam said.

I nodded slowly, and looked over at Jai and said "Wanna hold him?" it was quiet like a whisper, but he heard. It he nodded quickly. I slowly passed him over, and watched him whipsering to him.

"You can all have a turn." I sighed as they all looked at him adoringly. I giggled at their reactions, and then asked Louis to pass me my bag. He passed it over, and i took out my baby names book. 

Louis gave me a questioning look, "I've had it for months." i answered. I skipped to the boy section, and  sighed, not seeing a name that lit up. "I have an idea." Louis said, questioning the silence. I nodded, he looked down and said "George. After dad." i nodded smiling brightly. 

"EEEP! I am so sorry we're late, there was traffic, and i was like oh my god! Our best friend is having a baby and we're in traffic, and then Eleanor was stressing out too, and i didnt know what to do, and then when we got her there was this fat guy shouting at us, and i was like do not mess with me man i need to- OH MY DEAR LORD, IS THAT THE BABY?!" Jess babbled marching in the room with the others. 

"Shh! Yes, He's named George. After mine and Louis' dad." I told them. They all nodded, staring at him. Jai soon started to pass him over, and George was being circled around the room. "I am so writing a song about you!" Taylor squeeled to george. We all laughed. 

~Few hours later~

"No mum, i don't have to stay after night, yes, yeah, Louis says he's gonna come pick you up in the morning to come see him. Yeah, yep, bye love you." I said on the phone.

"Ready?" Zayn asked i nodded as he picked up my gay and i slowly picked up George hushing him, walking out of the room. 

I climbed into Zayn's car, and smiled at him. It was a short drive home, i lived quite close to the hospital. Jai and Harry said they were going to come to mine to talk, the others were going home, and were going to come see us tomorrow.

I slowly climbed out of the car, thanking Zayn, and waving to him as he drove off.

I unlocked the door and kicked it shut, slowly walking over to his room me and the girls decorated a few weeks ago. I placed him in his cot and left the room. I heard the door shut, and i walked over to the livingroom, "Hey" said Jai and Harry, i nodded at them and walked into the kitchen. 

"So..."

"Look, I'm sorry i didn't tell you guys about him, but i didnt know who was the father, and you both hated me." 

"Even if you weren't sure the baby was mine, or his, we would have been there for you." ~ Jai.

"Yeah, i wish you told me, i could have been here."~Harry.

"Well i'm sorry, but that's the past now."

I turned around and walked over to the fridge getting a bottle of water. 

"Whatever happens, you can both see him whenever you like. Even if you're not the father."

I sighed. They both nodded, i yawned and said " Maybe we should talk tomorrow. I need to sleep. Long day." they nodded.

They both hugged me and walked out of the kitchen, i saw Harry leave but Jai waited, " I'm sorry for throwing you out in my just my shorts. And leaving you to deal with this yourself."

"Jai, it's okay. I deserved it. And i dealed pretty fine, you're both here now so, it's okay."

"Oh and Laura, um, i know you'll never love me again, so can we still be friends?"

"ha, of course Jai, best friends" i smiled and winked. He smiled and walked out of the door.

I then walked into George's room, checking he was okay and then went to bed. Wow, what a day..
