Princess: "where are we goin?" She laughed

"It's a secret" I smiled as I drove

I was taking her to the beach because yesterday king mentioned that she hadn't been the beach in a while

He told me the last time she's been to the beach was their last family vacation which was several years ago

Princess: "well we're obviously goin somewhere where there's water cause you made me buy a bathing suit"

I rolled my eyes

"No I told you to bring a bathing suit, YOU decided to buy a new one" I laughed

Princess: "are we goin to the pool?"

"Yes" I lied

Princess: "you're lying"

What?!

How could she know that?!

"How would you know?"

Princess: "I'm not gonna tell you cause then you'll stop doin it" she laughed

I just looked at her as she smiled

I had so many questions running through my mind lately that I didn't know if I should ask but she gave me this feeling that I could talk to her about anything so I decided to ask.

"Uh babe...I got a couple questions"

Princess: "okay, shoot"

"Why?"

Princess: "why what?"

"Why'd you stick around? Me losing my memory was basically free game to leave and find someone better"

Princess: "simple; there's no such thing as someone better than you"

"At some point you stopped coming over; why?"

Princess: "our relationship had already been through a lot involving Ashley and we fought so hard to over come everything so just to see you back with Ashley was like a kick it the face"

"But you started coming over again; why?"

Princess: " I gave up; I told myself maybe it just wasn't meant to be but I knew that even if I couldn't have you in my life as my boyfriend then I'd settle with being friends because I love you"

"What made you tell me the truth?" I asked as we pulled up to the hotel I booked

Princess: "this" she said as she showed me her phone
