Melo's POV

"Babyyyyy" I said as I bothered princess while she got undressed

Princess: "Melo take a nap"

"I'm not sleepy"

Princess: "the doctor said you need rest"

I rolled my eyes

"Hurry up and come lay down then"

I watched as princess got into bed with me

"Why didn't you tell me this was YOUR house?"

Princess: "who said that?" She asked with wide eyes

"I left your room to go chill in King's and I heard you tell Viv that she doesn't pay for shit and that this is YOUR house" I semi lied

Princess: "oh..."

"So?"

Princess: "well I assumed you'd ask how I could afford a home then I'd have to tell you I'm modeling with king although I wanted to make you a surprise to tell you but eh, cats out the bag now" she shrugged

"Not really, I still have no clue what the surprise is"

Princess: "I was gonna gonna give it to you next week once the photo shoot was done but now that you know you might as well come with me"

"Oooh is it a nude photo shoot?" I asked as I raised my eyebrows

Princess: "no" she laughed

"Aww man" I said as I snapped my fingers causing princess to laugh

Princess: "you're so childish" she laughed

"But you love me"

Princess: "more than anything" she said as she pecked my lips

"What are we gonna do when school starts back up?"

Princess: "uh attend classes" she said in a duh tone

"I mean...everything's gonna change"

Princess: "how?"

"The spotlight is gonna be heavy on you"

Princess: "I can handle it"

"People are gonna be watching your every move, constantly judging you and bitches are gonna hate super hard. I know you're used to dealing with it over the internet but it's different when people are in your space"

Princess: "trust me, I'm prepared for everything you come with. I know what I signed up for the minute I agreed to be with you"

I could do anything else but smile

I was glad she wasn't a jealousy enraged type of person

"I'm glad I got you" I said as I wrapped my arms around her

Princess: "stoppp before you make me cry"

"I'm serious, you're exactly what I need. You're not bitter, I can tell you anything without you judging me, you don't take none of my bullshit, and you keep me level headed. In all honesty it's gonna be hard for me once we go back to school"

Princess: "why?"

"I'm gonna wanna kill any dude that looks at you or even breathes in your direction. I'm gonna lose my mind" I laughed

Princess: "you should already know that you're the only once getting my attention so who cares about them other niggas" she laughed

"You right but imma give you a heads up when I tell you that chino dudes are persistent as hell. They big the fuck out of you until you give them the response their looking for"
