Peyton rushed down the sidewalk of a small town in southern Georgia. "Mina!" She screamed down the street, hoping to see a pair of headlights coming towards her. She looked back behind her to see if she was still being chased. When she turned back around she finally saw the headlights come towards her, the car pulled up and came to a stop right next to her. Peyton ran towards the driver side. "Do you have the syringe of dead mans blood?" She said each word between deep breaths.

Mina looked at Peyton in horror, that's when Peyton realized the thing chasing her was behind her. She turned around, after quickly taking the syringe, stabbing it into the neck of the vampire to stun it. Mina stepped out of the car with a machete and cut the vamps head off. "We have to find a place to bury him, so no one sees him out here."

Peyton nodded in agreement, still catching her breath. "Thanks for the help, Mina."

"That's what partners are for." She smiled, then kissed Peyton's cheek. Peyton's face got extremely red which she tried to cover with her hands. Even though it was dark out, Mina could still see her blushing. "Get in the damn car." She said in a joking tone, grinning.

Peyton obeyed, getting into the car. "I would suggest going to get something to eat, but I highly doubt that anything's open at," she quickly checked the time on her phone, "one thirty in the morning."

"How about we drive around, see if there is anything open to get a burger or something, then go back to the motel." Mina suggested with Peyton agreeing.

It had been basically a month since the two girls met at the Massachusetts job, started off hating each other and are now working as a team, which both of them seemed to like.

Mina drove around looking for any open restaurants of sorts when she glanced over at Peyton who was passed out in the passenger seat. She drove back to the motel, Peyton didn't move even when the car stopped or when Mina was shutting the doors. So, Mina did what anyone would do, she carried Peyton into their room. She was easy to carry since she was only 5'3", her weight varying between 100-108 lbs, depending on what they had to do for a job. Mina set her down gently on her bed before laying on her own.

It took Mina a few hours to fall asleep. While she was lying awake she looked at the bracelet that Peyton had given her in New Hampshire, she hadn't taken it off since then. She smiled at the memory of how nervous the blonde girl had looked when she gave it to her.

Mina shot up, remembering she had something in her duffle bag from that same job. She quietly rushed over to it and dug around until she found what she was looking for. She found a piece of paper and wrote on it: For Good Luck. She set the note and present on the nightstand for Peyton to see in the morning. That's when she finally fell asleep herself.

In the morning when Peyton woke up the first thing she saw was the note from Mina, that she wrote during the night, and the necklace. "For good luck," Peyton repeated groggily to herself. She looked at the necklace, it has a horseshoe and a feather on it. She quickly put it on then looked about the small room for Mina, who was nowhere to be seen, but Peyton just assumed she was getting breakfast since it was 7:57 (which she considered a late start).

In the meantime Peyton showered, changed and prepared herself for when they left. While she was packing her stuff Mina walked in. "Hey." Peyton smiled at her.

"I got some breakfast. I hope you don't mind cheese burgers." She grinned and held up the bag of food.

Peyton ran over and hugged her tightly. "Oh my god you're the best." She released her from the hug, took the bag of food from her hand and sat at the table she just cleared of papers and newspaper clippings. She opened the bag and handed Mina a burger as she sat across from her. Peyton dug into hers right away. It had been the only thing she's eaten since breakfast the day before.

"This is amazing." Mina said with a slightly filled mouth. "We should have burgers for breakfast more often."

"Yes, yes we should." Peyton rolled up the paper her sandwich was wrapped in and threw it away.

Mina glanced at Peyton's neck and smiled to herself when she noticed the necklace. "Let's finish packing up. I know some place near here where we can stay and don't have to pay." She threw out her wrapper as well and got right to work packing everything.

Within half an hour they finished packing, had payed for their room and were back on the road. Peyton in her car and Mina in hers, but they weren't alone per say since they called each other and left it on speaker phone so they could talk to each other durning the drive.

Mina led Peyton to a place just over the border of Florida. It was hidden away in a forest. It was similar to the Men of Letters bunker the Winchester's had, but it was Mina's uncles. "Hold on a second," she told Peyton as she pressed a button that opened a garage door that was built into the mountain side. "Follow me into the garage then we can unpack our things." She drove into the garage, Peyton following. They parked their cars next to each other then started taking out things they needed.

"This is so awesome." Peyton looked around the large garage once she had taken out the things she needed.

"I haven't been here in such a long time." Mina looked around herself, leading Peyton into the actually shelter through a door that connects the shelter to the garage. "Aaron!" She shouted into the quiet place they had just entered.

"Mina? Is that you?" A male voice broke through the silence as well. Then the two girls saw a man rushing down the stairs. "It's so good to see you, Mina." He hugged her. "I didn't think you were going to be here till later on today."

"We didn't hit much traffic on the way over." She let go after he released her from the hug.

"You must be Peyton. I've heard so much about you." Aaron looked at Peyton with a grin.

"Oh really?" Peyton shot Mina a look, which she returned with a shrug and a small smile.

"How about you two set yourselves up in one of the rooms then come down because I just made some lunch." Peyton followed Mina up the stairs to the bedrooms.

"This one used to be my room when we came to visit." She opened the door to the room that seemed to change so much yet not at all.

The room was decent sized with a full sized bed between two walls, a brown desk and chair against another wall, a window behind the bed, some Christmas lights above the bed and some pictures on the walls next to the bed.

"This room is so cozy." Peyton said as she walked around it, getting a feel for the space. "Your uncle said to find a room. As in one, so are we going to share one?"

Mina sat on her bed. "Yeah, I guess we are. We can share this room, if you'd like."

Peyton smirked slightly. "That sounds perfect."
