The Final Fight

Peyton looked at the girl she loved so deeply. She hated that she had to restrain her in a chair, with a demon trap on the floor below the chair. Her head hung, light brown curls hung over her face.

Every time Peyton saw those black, cold eyes looking back at her she died a little bit inside, because she knew that Mina was still in there somewhere.

Peyton tapped her shoulder, "Mina? Can you hear me?" Her voice shook with fear of what was to come.

Mina's head shot up and stared at her. "Trying to get ahold of your precious darling, again I see." The demon inside her grinned.

"Just fucking leave her now." Peyton knew she didn't sound intimidating, but it was the best she could muster at the moment.

The demon laughed. "It's funny how hard you're trying. I can see why Mina adores you now."

"You're such an asshole." Peyton walked away, when she did so her shoe wiped away part of the demon trap. Now the demon in Mina's body could move freely.

"Thanks for freeing me." The demon smirked at her. "I appreciate it." That's when Peyton saw the girl she love charge at her. Peyton pulled out the demon knife just in case, as protection. The demon took her and held her so she couldn't move.

"Mina, I know you're in there. Please don't do this." Hot tears started streaming down her face. "Mina! Please!"

Mina snapped out of it for a second. She let Peyton go, the knife falling to the floor by Mina's feet. "I'm so sorry for what I'm about to do. I love you so much." She took the knife from the ground then stabbed it into her stomach. Her whole body flickered as the demon and her died.

"No!" Peyton shouted, springing to her feet. She knelt down and held Mina's lifeless body in her arms. "No, no, no, no! This can't be real." The tears came pouring out of her, she was sobbing. Peyton couldn't control herself and she lost it, crying over the lifeless body of the only person she'll ever love.
