*~*Jack's P.O.V*~*"Jack be careful my sweet." My mother cooed.
"No worries mother, it's just a short stroll." I reply hugging her tightly.
"Be back by sundown, we have tea with the Duke of weslton." She says waving. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have to write to several trade partners including Arendelle."
"Yes mother, by mother!" I then scurry through the long halls to the grand double doors signaling the entrance to this dreaded place.
"Oh how I've waited for this moment!" I chuckle to myself as I thrust my hand s forward opening the giant doors.
The cool wind whips through my platinum hair and the cold air nips at my nose. I grab my coat and whip it around my shoulders swiftly. I pull the hood over my head and hurry down the snow covered cobblestone path.
"Buy freshly baked bread here!" A man yells.
"Buy hand made blankets and rugs here!" Another person yells.
The village is just bustling with people at this hour. People hurrying and buying food and clothing for the soon to come winter season.
But one stand catches my eye, wood work. I casually stroll over and glance at the hand-made items. I look up at the man behind the cart. "Good afternoon fine sir!" I saw gleefully.
"Good afternoon to you as well! Anything specific your looking for?" He asks smiling happily. It seems as if I'm the only one that has been to his cart recently.
"No sir, just looking for now."
"What about this one, its half off!" He says holding out a long staff about my height and its curved at the end. Like a Shepard's staff. And out of kindness I bought the staff. It seemed to make the mans day.
I continue strolling through the village smiling and greeting people as I go. Suddenly a woman screams for help. I turn to find a woman chasing after a hooded figure who seemed to have stolen some of her hand made blankets.
"Get back here!" I yell. The figure continues to flee. I begin chasing the mysterious figure.
"Just give up, you'll never catch me!" A feminine voice screams.
At this point I'm on basically on her tail. "Yes. I. Will." I state as I yank her cloak off revealing her identity.
I stare in aw as her face appears. She has eyes as blue as ice and hair as white as the freshly fallen snow. She wears her hair in a long messy braid and she wears a old ripped blue dress.
"Stop gaping and hand me back my cloak ya dope!" She hisses.
"Excuse me, do you know who I am!?" I retort angrily stepping forward, holding my staff towards her beautiful face.
She laughs. "A shepherd?"
I yank my hood back revealing my face. She gasps and steps back. "Prince why are you out in the village?!" She says slightly bowing.
"Just taking a stroll. What where you doing in the village? Stealing I assume." I say raising an eyebrow.
"I would've gotten away with it if I had brought my sword!" She says throwing the blanket on the ground in frustration.
"Oh really, lets test that shall we!" I small smirk growing on my face. I walk over to the blacksmiths cart and pull a sword from a barrel. I toss a few shillings to him and turn back to the blonde.
"My lady!" I say handing her the sword.
She laughs a little and grips it tightly. She takes the first swing. I block it causing a clang to echo through the air. "Not bad." I chuckle.
"I'm not finished yet!" She hisses swinging her sword swiftly. Cutting through the air and in return I end up with a sliced sleeve.
"I see how it is!" I jump at her grabbing her shoulders and blocking her sword with my free hand. I bend her over holding my blade to her throat.
"You know if you weren't a thief I might've been tempted to kiss you." I smile.
"You disgust me." She spits and wriggles out of my grasp.
"Your pretty good with a sword." I compliment.
"Your not bad yourself."
She takes her cloak off the ground and lays it across her shoulders. She pulls the hood over her face and turns from me picking up the blanket in the process.
"Will I see you again?" I ask, my voice sounding desperate.
She turns to me and smiles slightly. "If fate allows it." She replies beginning to run into the forest.
