Chapter 8: Winds Of Change

Y/N POV:

I open my eyes to see I'm still in this dark void and I look to see the other side of me sitting down and facing away from me.

???: So your finally awake.

Y/N: ...

???: You're really crazy you know that?

???: Stabbing yourself with no hesitation at all just to stop me.

Y/N: I couldn't let you hurt the people I care about.

???: I just don't understand how you don't see the bitterness of this world.

???: We've been bullied, injured and betrayed.

???: So why? Why are you stopping me?!

Y/N: I'm not saying that this world is perfect but it still has beauty and I'm grateful for the friends this world gave me.

???: They're just gonna betray you like before.

Y/N: You keep saying we got betrayed.

Y/N: I wish you could explain it to me.

???: ...

I sit behind her and face the opposite direction she's facing.

Y/N: I'm willing to listen and we got all the time in the world.

???: (Sigh) Fine.

???: Here goes.

Flashback~

???: It started a year ago, it was our first school year in Signal without Kaho.

Aiden POV:

Ever since Team RWBY told me about Y/N stabbing herself by the statue things have been quiet more dead than before.

Right now me and Ruby went to visit her in Beacon's medical center to check on her condition.

We get to her door as Professor Ozpin walks out.

Aiden: How is she?

Ozpin: She's stable for now.

Ozpin: It's strange her body has long since healed thanks to her unusual high amount of aura but her mind has her in a comatose like state.

He opens the door to see her laying in bed looking perfectly fine with the exception that one of her eyes are in their usual amber color and the other is in it's strange pink color.

Ozpin: I'll give you both some privacy.

He takes his leave as me and Ruby get closer to her.

Ruby: Hey Y/N..

Y/N: ....

Aiden: We're glad to see your doing okay.

Y/N: ....

Silence fills the room as we try to hold ourselves back from the burning question with Ruby looking she's gonna be the first to crack.
