Chapter 9: New Changes

Y/N POV:

Since the incident at the docks things have been unusually more peaceful than before.

I managed to avoid Team RWBY's wrath from my little control accident through some luck with only a light punishment of having my tea collection taking away and being forced into crowded places bringing my anxiety off the charts.

Right now Aiden and I decided to head to Forever Falls Forest for a quick sparring match to test out my new weapons.

Aiden: Okay, you ready? (takes out his sword)

Y/N: Ready.

I get into my stance as he does the same.

Aiden: Go!

He rushes at me with his sword as I block the strike with my Gauntlet and knee him in the stomach and punch his face knocking him away.

He glares at me before igniting his sword in blue flames creating a slash of fire heading towards.

Y/N: (Rotation!)

I spin in an 180 degree angle blocking the attack only for me to see him behind me as he slashes my back.

Y/N: (Bastard!)

I pull out Satou and land a small slash across his chest shocking and stunning him.

I use my chains to throw him in the air and I jump in the air going for an axe kick but he blocks my foot with his hand and charges fire in his mouth.

Y/N: (Oh...crap)

He fires the blast with me making a small wind shield to lessen the damage.

Aiden: I think it's time to end this.

He resheathes his sword and engulfs his hand in fire.

Y/N: Yeah!

I gather aura into my hands and start rotating and compressing the sphere forming between them.

We then both charge at each other and clash with our attacks.

Y/N and Aiden: Go!

Our attacks burst sending us flying into trees.

Y/N and Aiden: Ow...

I take a second to get up and head over to Aiden who's still trying to get up.

Y/N: Need a hand?

As I offer my hand to help him up and he takes it. .

Aiden: That was pretty fun.

Y/N: Your telling me.

Aiden: It's safe to say your new weapons definitely work.

Y/N: Yeah, I just hope they don't break before I've had a good chance to use them a lot.

We hear our scrolls start ringing as we look to see Lunch is about to end in 5 minutes.
