Chapter 4

"Mondo.. get off.." Ishimaru said sleepily.

"Mmph..." Mondo groaned, his heavy body leaning on Ishimaru's.

"Mondo..! Get off- gah!" Ishimaru tried to lift the taller boy, but Mondo just fell back onto of him.

Ishimaru slightly blushed as he felt Mondo's hot breathing on his neck.

He'd stop trying to get him up, it was no use, the boy was too shaken up from the experience not to cling onto someone.

Ishimaru shivered as Mondo squeezed him tightly, "You're squeezing me.." he'd groan.

Mondo still didn't respond, and continued to sleep.

"A-hem! Your lovely headmaster Monokuma is speaking! Everyone meet at the gym accordingly!" The monitors turned on, waking up Mondo.

"Ishimaru, wake up-" he'd shake his friend.

"Yea, I heard it.." Ishimaru responded, tired of Monokuma's games.

Ishimaru and Mondo were the last ones to show up, standing next to each other.

"Its really getting on my nerves that none of you will just kill each other already! And we were so close this time~!" Monokuma said, looking over to Mondo.

Ishimaru looked up to Mondo, seeing his terrified expression.

Monokuma took out a paper and told everyone's secrets out loud.

Everyone stared at Mondo as he started to cry, shaken to the bone.

Ishimaru held Mondo's hand, "calm down Mondo, it wasn't your fault..." He'd whisper.

"BUT IT WAS!" Mondo screeched out.

The shorter boy stood his ground, but his face was still slightly scared.

Mondo's expression changed in an instant, looking sadly at Ishimaru's expression.

"You're scared that I'll hurt you, aren't you?" Mondo covered his face with his hand.

"If I was scared, why am I still here, not running away?! You're not a killer, Mondo, and I know that you'll never become one." Ishimaru comforted, trying to reassure his friend.

"Kiyo.." Mondo whispered, happy that Ishimaru was still there for him.

"You kids are so gullible, Mondo, should I tell them about what happened, or would you like to do it yourself?" Monokuma laughed.

"Whatever it is, we'll never call Mondo a killer!" Naegi stepped up.

"Maybe you will after this, Mondo tried to kill little Fujisaki!" Monokuma said out loud, causing Mondo took look down in shame.

Naegi looked over, utterly terrified.

Fujisaki ran over to Mondo and Ishimaru, "but he was able to control himself! That's why I'm willing to trust him, and maybe you all should too!" He'd say confidently.

Mondo let out a small smile, appreciative.

"But what if he hurts us too?!" Hagekure said, in panic.

"Well do you see any bruises or scars on me Hagekure?" Fujisaki asked.

Ishimaru looked around, some of the others were actually trusting Mondo, while some weren't.

"That doesn't mean he won't hesitate to do it to us!" Fukawa whined.

"Oh hush, even though Mondo seems guilty, that doesn't mean he'll do it again." Togami said, lecturing Fukawa.
