Chapter 9

"Why do we have to do this again?" Mondo asked the slightly shorter male.

"Well, they technically got us out of hope's peak." Ishimaru lectured Mondo, who was getting his bike out.

"Yea but cops are assholes." Mondo growled.

"Language!" Ishimaru snapped back.

"I'm sorry but it's true!" Mondo replied to the red-eyed male.

"You're only saying that because you've probably broken more laws than I can count." Ishimaru teased.

Mondo rolled his eyes, getting onto the bike.

Ishimaru sat down behind him, struggling to carry the bag and hold onto Mondo at the same time.

"You can start driving NOWW-" Ishimaru let out a shriek as Mondo sped quickly away.

He'd lose his balance for a second, but was able to hold onto Mondo.

"Jeez, don't scream so loud." Mondo snickered, trying not to laugh at the boy's terror.

"M-Mondo! You're going to get us pulled over if you keep going this fast!" Ishimaru protested.

"Fuck the police!" Mondo laughed before speeding up even more.

"MONDO NO-" Ishimaru squealed, squeezing the boy intensely.

"I-I'm never trusting you again.." Ishimaru walked around, spinning at him from his dizziness.

Mondo quickly parked his bike on the side, looking much more calmer than Ishimaru was.

"We're going to have to drive back you know." Mondo laughed at him.

Ishimaru groaned, checking the bag (filled with donuts because I'm creative) if everything was still not crushed.

The purple-haired boy walked up the steps, opening the door to hear someone screaming their lungs out.

"What's wrong with her?" Mondo whispered to Ishimaru, slightly annoyed at the woman.

"I know what I saw! That bitch Enoshima took my little boy! SHES ALIVE!" The woman yelled at one of the officers.

Fujisaki?

Ishimaru quickly looked up to Mondo, now recognizing who the person was.

Fujisaki's mother.

Is Enoshima alive?! Why did she take Fujisaki out of all people, why him?!?

Why not me?

"What?! What happened to him?" Mondo rushed to the woman, quickly turning around.

Fujisaki's mother quickly teared up, "Enoshima's alive! Help me tell these morons that she has my son!" She screeched.

Ishimaru could see the fear in Mondo's eyes, it was the same fear when he tried to kill Fujisaki.

"Mr. Owada, the woman has gone mad, Enoshima's dead, Fujisaki's probably just ran away, now get out before I'll have to get the other officers to." The officer groaned, brushing the mother off.

"What kind of people are you?! Leaving my son to die in the hands of that monster!" Fujisaki's mother screamed again, running out of the station.

"Mondo!" Ishimaru tried to stop Mondo from following her, but he quickly dashed past.

He'd narrow his eyes to the officer, "What happened?"

"Apparently that woman saw Enoshima, but shes probably just going insane due to her child being taken away for a year." The officer ignored eye contact with Ishimaru.
