Adailia's POV
I slouched down and ran my hand through my hair. I saw him. I'm sure.
I can't exactly put a finger as to who he was but I'm pretty sure he was someone from my previous life.
Maybe I passed him somewhere on the street or he was in some cafe, but I'm sure I've seen him somewhere back when I was in Seoul.
I sighed and got up, dusting my dress, when I heard footsteps approaching me. I saw a knight making his way towards me.
"Lady Adailia, Mrs Shamal is at the mansion waiting for the lady, to take her measurements for the upcoming ceremony." The knight said.
"What ceremony?" I blurted out.
"The Welcoming ceremony this Saturday for all the Academy students." The knight said.
Ahh-That ceremony!!! It's the first time Prince would notice Seanna. Even though Seanna was Adailia's companion, she never met Prince cause Adailia never let any girl get near the prince.
This was a special ball for all the academy's students to gather after the long holidays. This year's ball would be more special because the Prince would be attending it.
But wait.......DOES THAT MEAN THE HOLIDAYS ARE OVER???????????
Shit! I wasted all my time reading romance books. Not that I regret it.
I nodded and followed the knight to my carriage.
After we were inside the mansion I was rushed to my room by the maids. A woman in her 40's was standing there. As soon as she saw me, she bowed down, "Good afternoon, lady Adailia." I nodded in response. Adailia doesn't wish. Rude, but can't help it.
"If you would allow me to take your measurements...." She said and I nodded again.
She motioned two ladies in the corner and they started taking my measurements.
Mrs Shamal was one of the most famous designers in Obelia and expensive too.
After taking the measurements she motioned another lady who fetched the catalogue and handed it to me.
"Lady Adailia, which colour would you prefer?"She asked, showing me more of less pink colours.
Ugh- why pink?
"Magenta, crimson, rose, cream, cerise, taffy, rosewood, flamingo, fascia, rouge, crepe, wild berry, punch, bri-"
"Stop." I said, My God! I Never knew there were so many different 'pinks' and each had a name!
"What's wrong, Lady Adailia?" Mrs Shamal asked me.
"No pink." I said.
She looked as if someone just hit her with a brick.
"Lady Adailia.... Are you sure?" She asked cautiously.
"Yes." I am not gonna wear a pink dress.
"Then which colour would you prefer?"
"Umm... Blue?" I suggested.
The lady brought another catalogue. This time Mrs Shamal had the courtesy to ask me before spouting out different shades.
"Which shade do you prefer, Lady Adailia?"
"Uh- dark blue?", I know nothing about colours, I wonder how I was born a girl in my last and well as this life.
She raised a brow and then asked, "Lady Adailia, could you be a bit more specific. Like, Midnight, Oxford, cobalt, sapphire, Persian, ultramarine, as-"
