THE ceremony started as the Pastor shared the message of God about marriage and how He would play a bigger part in their married life.

"A great legacy is always built upon the word of God. Tristan, love your wife, Maricar like how Jesus loves her. Love her sacrificially with all of your heart." They smiled with each other upon hearing what the Pastor has said, "Maricar, focus on loving your husband, Tristan and loving your children. Everything else is secondary. For your family is your first ministry."

After the short message; The candle, veil, cord ceremony comes next. They didn't have an entourage so whoever the coordinator picked to be the secondary sponsor stood up.

Gryffin and Eury for the candle, Eumee and Slyther for the veil, Maricris and Eugene for the cord. Huffle is the maid of honor and Raven is the best man.

Tristan's hand didn't let go of hers as he held it so tight as if she would still run away, that won't be possible.

Then the most waited part of the day, the vows.

"Maricar, you may say your vows," The Pastor said as he handed her the microphone.

She took a deep breath and chuckled a bit to ease her tension, "Tristan, every time I looked back to the past, I couldn't stop myself to question why you didn't leave, why you chose to stay, why me among a thousand beautiful and single ladies?"

She remembered the sleepless nights she had whenever insecurity would attack. How she tried to act mature but when she does self-pity comes next.

"Our relationship was never easy. Especially when we were just starting out, there was a lot of judgment, a lot of obstacles and a lot of problems so every time I would ask you, why are you choosing to stay with me? You always say I love you." She sighed and let out a nervous chuckle.

Tristan never failed to reassure her. He helps her build herself again. She made Wizards with his help, by believing in her when she couldn't do that to herself.

"For seven years, you've fought for your position in my life. Especially since I have children, and there are times when I see you get tired but there wasn't a time I saw you give up," Her voice slowly cracked, she has to contain her tears. "I know I've never been the best girlfriend for you, I have many shortcomings and committed a lot of mistakes... but from this day, I promise to try my very best to become the best wife you will ever need."

She looked into his teary eyes, "From now on, apart from God, with my children, you'll be one of my top priorities. You're not number two or three, you're number one with kids." The guests laughed with what she said, even Tristan.

He never demanded everything from her from the start. He accepted what she could give and this is the perfect time to give back what he truly deserves.

"From now on, we'll be one, we'll be a team. It has been a long journey my love, and now, we are finally getting married and it is a great love story because God wrote ours," she caressed his face and wiped the tears from his eyes.

"Coming home now gets exciting because I know that you're there waiting for me. You are my home, thank you for loving not just me but also my children and thank you for giving me your last name. I will love you forever with all my heart."

Tristan wiped the tears from his eyes as he composed himself.

"It's now your turn, Tristan," The Pastor handed him the microphone and sighed deeply. That made them laugh, he was so nervous.

"Maricar, when I saw you walked down that aisle, I just didn't see my future but I also saw the first time that I've met you." How could she forget that blind date that turned into a disaster, "You even told me that you would never date, again. Technically, that was rejection..."

She could remember that night. What are the odds, right? What if she didn't go to that blind date? What if she didn't walk out of that restaurant?

"But look at us right now, stronger than yesterday. Seven years was super challenging but God has really blessed me with you. I really don’t want to stand here and promise you anything because I don’t wanna say things now and you’re gonna show me the video down the line and use that as a defense in the future."

His groom's men, who are also married, reacted with that pun. She just laughed with them. Oh, Tristan.

"So instead of promising you and saying all these things, I would just surrender our love to God for he is more powerful than us." He caressed her cheeks as he looked up, "Thank you God for blessing me with her."

There were a couple of 'oohs' that they've heard. The guest was really moved. Who wouldn't?

"I love you so much, Maricar and I love those you love. Let's face this life together,"

The pastor handed them the rings, "I, Maria Carmina Martinez, take you, Tristan Bergström, as my husband. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the days of my life. Take this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."

"I, Tristan Bergström, take you, Maria Carmina Martinez as my wife, I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the days of my life. Take this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."

"By the power vested upon me, I pronounced you; husband and wife. Tristan, you may now kiss your lovely bride, Maricar... "

The place was filled with cheers and applause as Tristan cupped her face and pressed their foreheads together, "I love you so much..." He whispered.

"I love you, too..." She replied as she felt his lips in her forehead.

Their eyes locked with each other as he slowly filled her lips with his. Kissing her with equal passion, gentleness, and desire.

"I welcome you, Mr. & Mrs. Bergstrom!"

They faced their guests hand in hand and walked out for the recession yet stopped for another kiss. She wrapped her arms around his shoulder as he wrapped his in her waist.

"Thank you, Baby..." He whispered, "For making my dreams come true,"

She lovingly looked at him, "You were my dream who came true, Tristan..." She replied, "I can't believe that I'm once again a wife! "

"And you'll stay that way, okay?" She chuckled and nodded, "I love you,"

"I love you more..."

"I love you most!" He was about to kiss her again when his friends stopped them. He groaned.

"You have all the time later! Let's get the party started!" His groomsman said.

She laughed seeing his reaction.

"I can't wait for us to be alone," He whispered to her.

"Don't worry, Baby. We all have the time now..."
