The Drawing

FANGS POV

We were back on the ship. Everyone was crowding around me as I was getting ready to open the safe. I hooked the latch of the safe to a hook.

"You guys ready?!" I screamed. Everyone cheered and I laughed. I pulled the hook as hard as I could. The door came off and I fell to the ground. Everyone cheered more and I laughed. I got up and ran to the safe. I started searching it. There was newspapers and money. I then found a book full of papers. I searched the safe more...and no ring.

"Where is it?" Toni grunted. I looked over and saw Sweetpea recording this still.

"Turn the camera off!" I yelled. He turned the camera off and I just looked at my crew members. "Sorry, guys. Go back to work. Main crew, office now." I nodded. I picked up the book of papers. Everyone went off and I was just with my crew. I walked with them downstairs and down the hall into the examination room. I gave the book of papers to one of the examiners. I sat down at the table in the room with the crew.

"Fangs, is the investigation over? I have a wife I'd really like to return to-" Toni began.

"No, it's not. You can go home if you want. But there's still a lot of places we can look. There's Elizabeth's room, and a lot of other rooms." I nodded.

"Hey, we found something!" One of the examiners shouted. I immediately got up and ran over. There was a drawing of a woman. We had only uncovered the first half of her though. This was Betty Cooper.

"Uncover the rest of her." I said sternly. They got to work on it. A few minutes later, the rest of her was seen. She was wearing the ring. I looked at the date and the initials. "June 16, JJ."

"Who on Earth is 'JJ'?" Sweetpea asked.

"Who cares?! She was wearing the ring! That means that the ring is somewhere around here! Put this on the news and get people excited! This...this is how we make headlines." I smiled. The crew and examiners all smiled too. We all got into one giant group hug. "The Heart Of The Sea" will be mine soon.
