Newt Imagine

Newt's P.O.V

Working in the field is hard work, but in the end of the day, I love seeing Y/N running out of the maze with a smile on her face when she and Minho get a step closer to finding an escape for us out of this shucking glade. The sun beating on my neck as sweat dribbled down my forehead. "Newt." I looked up, hoping it was Y/N. It was Gally. "What is it Gally." I replied in an annoyed tone. Gally didn't say anything, he kept his face to the ground. I stood up to face him, about to ask him what he wanted when I heard it. A high pitched female scream. My head spun to the North side of the maze, fear flooding through my veins. "Y/N." I mutter under my skin. Ignoring the pain from my foot, I ran/limped across the glade to the entrance of the maze. Half the glade was there. The screaming didn't stop. "Take her Clint fast." I heard Alby demand. I pushed myself through the crowd finding Y/N kneeling on the floor, Her Y/H/C hair covering her face, holding her stomach, screaming. "Y/N." I cried, walking towards you, but Minho got in front of me. "I'm sorry Newt." He said, as he held me back. I watched the med jacks take her to the homestead. "Let me go Minho!" I cried. 

"No!" He replied holding me back. "I HAVE A RIGHT TO SEE HER!" I shrieked, finally getting out of his grasp. I felt him pull me back again. "You don't want to Newt- LISTEN TO ME!" He yelled back. I stopped fidgeting and faced Minho. "What do you mean you don't want me to." I blurt out. "She's been stung man... Twice." I felt myself get weaker, my knees buckled. My head shot with a pain, as if something was crawling inside it. Tears rolled down my face as I fell to the ground, wetting the soil. "Newt?" I heard Minho, he pulled me back to my feet. "Newt?"

"I-i need to lie down." I tell him, wobbling to the hammocks. I flung my lifeless body on it, my eyes swelling with tears at the shrieks of Y/N.

I was going to loose her. I was going to loose the most amazing person I've ever met. It was early in the morning and her screams echoed through the night. Until... They stopped... I pulled myself up. The screaming stopped. A cloud of dread rained on me. Was she dead? She couldn't be, she's the only reason why I'm not dead yet. I stood up, the maze was opening. I ran towards the doors. Y/N deserved a proper life, and now it's gone. I turned back, and took one last glance at the glade. My face turned back, i took one step into the maze until I heard a shriek. "NEWT!" My head spun. Shuck. It was Alby. "Where do you think your going shank?" He asked. 

"She's gone, I know your here to tell me she's gone!" I screamed. "But don't worry, soon I'll be gone." I mumbled, walking into the maze. "Newt wait." I heard him call. I stopped walking. "I'm here to tell you that Y/N is awake." My head spun back. I bolted to the homestead, bursting through the door. "WHERE IS SHE!!" I cried.  Clint pointed to a room. I slowly opened the door. "Y/N?" I whispered, closing the door behind me. Y/N came, with a big smile on her face. "Newt!"She cried. I ran towards her, and hugged her. I never wanted to let her go. "I thought i lost you." I whispered to her. Moving away from her. "Well you didn't." She whispered back, leaning in to kiss me. I kissed back, passionately, enjoying the touch of her soft lips. We moved away, and our foreheads touched. "I love you Y/N." I told her, before kissing her again. My heart, pounding with joy.
