Jungkook's eyes began to droop as he turned into his driveway. Yawning loudly, he allowed a deep groan to exit his throat. Here we was, 23 years old, the head of a major company, his days wasted by reviewing his workers files. His face was sunken in and deep bags coated his under eyes.
He never chose this life, his father assigned it to him from the day he was born, and any day after that was just him working for his fathers approval. Jungkook sighed as he opened the door to his house.
The darkness that echoed through the door way swallowed him as he walked in. Jungkook scrunched his nose as something felt off to him. The smell of nothing that usually filled the house was replaced with cologne. Jungkook swallowed shakily as he took cautious steps.
Walking to each room, Before turning on any light, Jungkook said a prayer and hoped for nothing to be around. He let out a relieved sigh, that was quickly replaced with a gasp as the sound of something crashing filled his ears. Jungkook screeched and made a run for the bathroom, locking himself in it as he shakily took his phone out. He could hear his own heavy breaths as he waited for the line to connect.
"Hello?"
"Namjoon, please come as soon as you can. I think theirs someone in the house." Jungkook spoke, his voice barely above a whisper.
"Don't worry, i'm on my way." Namjoon spoke quickly hanging up the phone, much to Jungkook's protest.
Jungkook sat against the bath, hugging his knees to his chest as he heard a door being opened.
"C'mon don't be a pussy." Jungkook spoke to himself, retreating from the bathroom to kick open the doors of the kitchen.
His mouth fell open as he tilted his head to the side at the sight before him. It was Namjoon, with one of his most expensive whiskeys in hand, making ramen.
"Oh hey Kookie, I accidentally dropped the pot. It didn't break though." He spoke nonchalantly, taking another drink of the alcohol.
"T-the noise, I-I thought someone broke in..?" Jungkook stuttered out, his heart still racing.
Namjoon gave him a dimpled smile, "No, that was me baby, I just wanted to give you a little scare. Let it be payback for how you spoke to me earlier."
Jungkook scoffed, "What the hell are you doing in my house anyway?"
"Baby we already discussed this during the little big shot meeting, did we not?" Namjoon teased, stirring his ramen.
Jungkook thought back, his expression immediately falling upon realization. Namjoon and Taehyung would have to live with him. Jungkook mentally gagged, though he felt a stream of butterflies fly through his body.
"Right, you two can take the guest bedrooms." Jungkook spoke, avoiding the mans gaze. Namjoon thought for a minute before speaking.
"Me and Tae looked around, and I think i'd like the master bedroom." Namjoon spoke confidently, only for Jungkook to frown.
"Master bedroom? But that's m-mine."
"Oh is it?" Namjoon spoke, shrugging his shoulders. "Guess we're just going to have to share. Besides, I wouldn't mind you sleeping next to me, or on top of me." He laughed out.
Jungkook stared at him with wide eyes, as Namjoon leaned closer to his ear.
"By the way, Tae is in our bedroom going through your stuff."
