ALONE. Natalia and Alex were behind the mansion, alone having a picnic in the sunset.
"It's over. We can rest." Alex smiled.
"I still regret giving Angel that gash on her face though, that's gonna stay there forever." Nat chucked.
"Yeah, but. Charles is starting a new school, missions aren't that frequent. We can finally focus on . . . Us." Alex smiled, turning to Natalia, pulling her into a light kiss, Natalia felt butterflies erupting from her stomach. For the first time in her life, she felt safe, and free.
Nothing bad could happen, as long as it was just them against the world . . .
