As soon as McNamara left, Chandler turned to me, "What are you doing? Don't just let her go. Follow her!"
"Ok...?" I said.
"Well, go!" Chandler yelled.
"Ok, fine. But if Regina kills me, it'll be your fault," I said.
"Whatever," Chandler said, rolling her eyes as I walked to follow McNamara.
I walked down the hallway to find Regina and McNamara in the art room talking. I hid behind the door so I could listen without being seen.
"So, Heather, what makes you think that you have the worth to be Plastic?" Regina asked.
"Well, I'm already a Heather, which is like this school's equivalent of a Plastic, so I've kinda already accomplished becoming a Plastic," McNamara stated.
"Heathers are nothing compared to Plastics, Heather, but I do see some potential. Welcome to the Plastics, Heather," Regina said. I was definitely gonna have to get used to hearing her called Heather.
"Yay!" McNamara said.
"Don't make me regret this!" Regina threatened.
"I won't," McNamara said.
"Come to my house tonight around 7. Gretchen and Karen will be there too," Regina said, "I want to get to know you better," Regina said.
"Ok!" McNamara said.
"Oh, and take off that disgusting 'Heather' garb that you're wearing. I never wanna see you in that thing again as long as you are a Plastic," Regina said. I rolled my eyes.
"But I like-" McNamara started.
"Get it?" Regina snapped.
"Got it Regina," McNamara cowered back.
"Ok, good. Wear something good to my house tonight. I've given you my word of approval, but Gretchen and Karen still haven't given you their approval to join the Plastics. Wear something that will make them like you," Regina lectured.
"Ok, will do," McNamara said.
"Good, now shoo," Regina said. McNamara didn't move, "Well, go on and scram!" Regina snapped.
McNamara started to walk away slowly, but when she had almost reached the door she saw me and winked at me. She turned back around to say something to Regina. I though she was gonna expose me to Regina, but instead she said, "Oh and one last thing,"
"What is it?" Regina asked, impatiently.
"Can Janis come with me to your house tonight?"
"If you must bring her, then I guess it's fine" Regina said.
"Yay! Thank you!" McNamara said and skipped out of the room. She grabbed my hand as she ran out and she pulled me down the hallway along with her.
