That Did Not Go As Planned

"Regina? That was really rude, Treating McNamara that way yesterday. She doesn't deserve it. She's one of the sweetest people I know," I said. I had met Regina in the art room the next day after school as I had planned. The Heathers, Veronica, Caddy, and Damian insisted on staying in the hallway instead of going home just in case I needed backup, so they were still at school too.

"Exactly! Sweet is not a trait a Plastic should have. Sweetness makes you weak," She said.

"Sweet does not make you weak, Regina. It makes you a good person," I said.

"Well, I really don't care. As far as I'm concerned, the only important thing is popularity," Regina said.

"That's where you're wrong. There are much more important things than popularity," I said.

"Whatever," Regina responded.

"Also, Gretchen and Karen are two of the sweetest people I know. Caddy too. You're the only Plastic that isn't sweet. Maybe you're the only one that's Plastic material!" I said. 

"No. You are!" Regina said.

"See, I don't think I can be Plastic anymore," I said.

"Why? Can't handle how cool I am?" Regina asked.

"No. I wanted to be your friend again, but now I'm reconsidering. I could never be as mean as you and I don't wanna try. Also, I don't wanna associate my self with people like you. You're a bad influence!" I said as I flipped my dip-dyed hair and strutted out of the room.

"I don't need you either! Go away!" Regina called after me.

"With pleasure!" I said, and continued walking.

"Oh, and tell that Mac girl to get her butt in here!" Regina yelled.

"Why, so you can tell her how useless she is?" I scoffed, walking slowly back into the room.

"No. I want to offer her a spot in the Plastics," Regina said.

"I thought you were fully against that!" I said, surprised.

"I was, but now I can see that she has much more potential than you ever will!" Regina yelled.

"Ok fine," I said. Then I walked out of the room to try to find McNamara. When I found her she was with Duke, Chandler, Veronica, Damian, and Caddy.

"Hey guys," I said.

"Took you long enough!" Duke yelled.

"Sorry.." I said.

"Soooo... how did it go? Are you officially "Plastic" now?" McNamara asked.

"Let's just say it did not go as planned," I said.

"What do you mean?" Caddy asked.

"She wants to see McNamara," I said.

"Me?"  McNamara asked, "But I thought that she was completely against having me in the Plastics!"

"Me too, but I guess she reconsidered. Go on McNamara. Talk to Regina," I said.

"Alright," She said, and she walked away to go find the room that Regina was in.
