Two weeks pass. Everyday Jessie and I find a way or more to get on each others nerves.
***
"Beth," he calls me"That's not my name Jessie."
"Why not?"
"I have a series of nicknames to choose from. You can use anyone but that one."
"But does it bug you?"
"Yes Jessie."
"Then I'm keeping it."
***
I dislike him so very much.
But I will say, I have never hated anyone more attractive.
And I won't lie, I am completely annoying to him too.
***
"Hey Jessie?""Yes Beth?"
"I don't like you."
"It's mutual Beth."
"I hope so Jessica, 'cause I could never be friends with a guy with a name like that."
Some of my comebacks are better than others.
***
We will fight over anything.***
"It's seventy five degrees outside. why are you wearing ugg boots?" he asks me."It's a free country."
"That statement isn't relevant."
"Your not relevant."
"Your use of the word relevant is irrelevant."
You wouldn't think someone that looked like that, would be such a grammar nazi.
***
It has pretty much turned into a competition, seeing who will outdo each other. I mentally keep the days score in my head.
***
"Elizabeth, that's not the formula!""Yeah it is."
"How do you know?"
"Because I am smarter than you."
He smirks, "Smarter than me? I am currently in advanced calculus, drama and history."
"I'm in all of those classes with you idiot."
"Whatever"
Point for Eliza!
***
Eitherway, if the guy wasn't such a d-bag, he would be the complete package. extremely attractive, athletic, smart. Unfortunately along with being smart he's also a smart a**. Oh and I hate him too so that's a problem.
The day our improv is due I am assigned the Annoyed and Jessie is the Annoyer.
We go around in a circle and go second.
Ricky T. starts us off my blowing a whistle, we have three minutes to express what we were assigned to.
"Jessie and Elizabeth, please introduce yourself and prompt." Ricky T. tells us.
"Okay," we say in unison, then glare at each other.
I start talking before he can, "I am Elizabeth and this is my less educated accomplice Jessie," I smile at our audience, "we will be demonstrating for you today the feeling of annoyance."
*whistle*
"OOHHH M G. Don't you L. O. V. E. LOVE my new ugg boots? I know it's hot outside, but I like to dress how the weather is. I know I seem cheery, but I'll warn you--I hate everyone," Jessie says in a valley girl voice.
The class giggles.
He. Did. Not.
I show the time out sign and Ricky T. calls on me.
"Ricky T? Sorry I'm just a little confused. I thought we were supposed to be acting?"
The class bursts out laughing.
After catching his breath from giggling Ricky T says, "Please go on Miss Reynolds." (Btw that's her last name)
Jessie is pissed. He lets out a primal growl only I can hear but takes a deep breath and we continue. This time we don't target each other, not wanting to risk humiliation for what the other person might say.
After class he meets me in the hall, "you really suck," we say in unison for for the second time today. We both roll our eyes.
"You started it," I say.
"Actually I didn't," he contradicts.
"Yeah you did," I say and speed walk away from him.
Only to meet each other once more at our shared biology desk.
It sucks because sometimes I want to gossip about Jessie in my next class, unfortunately if I did that, I would be talking about him to him, and wouldn't that be awkward.

I'm back! Things are about to start picking up legit this time, I hope you don't mind that some of my chapters are fricken long and the others are pretty petite, but when they're short just be expecting an update soon after because I am not evil. There will be an update in a day or two, I swear it. (This was a petite chapter)
