Seeing Leo with his spirit animal made him look complete, and his spirit animal is beautiful. Seeing this, makes me think what my animal could be, would it be a bird like Leo's or something completely different, as I was think this my vision started to blur and I stumbled until Tom supported me and helped me sit down on a log as I felt like I was going to throw up, in the distance I heard Jordan Helping Tabatha as she was also feeling the effects of summoning her spirit animal. As more time passed my ears started to ring and felt like I was burning from the inside out, when everything just stopped and a massive tiger was sitting in front of me, its tail swishing, and it eyes a hazel green colour staring at me in curiosity.

"I'm Lahell."

"It's nice to meet you Lahell, I'm Dylan Mayanka."

"I know."

That was all Lahell said to me as a bright flash and the next thing I knew tom was standing next to me staring wide eyed at Lahell that was still sitting in front of me, I looked over and saw Leo with Kisha, and Tabatha with her newly summoned spirit animal, that took form in a fennec fox, it large ears twitching at all the sounds that only it could hear. Looking back at Lahell I reached out my hand to let him get used to my sent, he leaned his large head into my hand so that my fingers would brush through his fur, he started to purr in response to my fingers gliding through his orange and black stripped fur. I can't believe it I summoned my spirit animal and a tiger of all. Looking up I saw the Captain walking straight to us, and stood right in front of everyone observing the animals that had been summoned today.

"Congratulations young ones, for summoning your spirit animals today, you should all be happy, you have your animals and you are now eighteen years old," said the Captain. "your all right to go back to your daily jobs."

After that was said both Tabatha and Leo started walking away, I watched as Leo walked away with his spirit animals flying above him.

"You like him." Said Lahell, looking from Leo to me and back again, as I chocked.

"W-what!? Do I like him no... there is something about him that draws me to him, like his eyes there a colour I've never seen before." I said wondering off in my own head, until I heard a chuckle come from behind me, both me and Lahell turned to see Tom standing there with his Timber wolf spirit animal, and my cheeks turned red as a ripe tomato and lowering my eyes to the ground in embarrassment.

"He is cute." Tom said while looking over my shoulder looking at the walking away Leo and Kisha, if it was at all possible my cheeks got even redder. Tom turned around walking back to the camp to get some lunch, before going back to work, me and Lahell following him to the main tent.

"Well what about you, don't you have anyone you like?" I asked to try and lessen my embarrassment, and Lahell seem to chuckle at that, I turned to glare at him, then turned back to Tom.

"hmmm..." Tom seemed to ponder about this. "No, I have good friends and mates that I like, but nothing like hat you've got." Tom smirked at that, and I just went red all over again, Which Tom to start laughing like an idiot.

After my eighteenth birthday, the week went by in a flash, and today I was assigned to help Jordan and Tom watch over the teens that were turning eighteen today and there was a big group of seven, Jordan did his normal thing of helping the teen keep calm while Tom and I was watching, making sure to see when any were showing signs of summoning their spirit animals. By the time some of them showed the signs it was well past noon, But something seemed wrong with these kids.

"Tom, something doesn't seem right." I said as he also looked quite concerned, because they seemed to look like they were becoming more animal themselves, than summoning one.

"Hey! What's going on? What's wrong with them?" Said Leo as he came running up to me and Tom with Kisha landing in a nearby tree, her eyes showing great caution towards the teen that seemed to be in much pain, Lahell show the same as he growled at the teens coming closer to my side.

"I don't know and it doesn't look good either." I stated and both Tom and Leo looked at me with dead eyes, I just shrugged. We all turned back to the teens when we heard something between a growl and a scream.

"I'm going to get the medics!" Tom said running off in the direction of the camp, while me and Leo stayed by trying to help Jordan as best they can, by keeping the teens that have yet to summon their animals calm. When Tom came back he had a large group of soldiers and the whole team of medic behind him Leo and I decided to step back and out of the older and more experienced soldiers way and go grab water and some supplies that the medics couldn't grab.

"What do you think is happening to them?" asked Leo as we walked to the medics tent, and I could see the emotions of fear and confusion swirling in is blue-violet eyes, Keshia sitting on his should gently nibbling on his ear trying to calm the stressed boy, Lahell following behind us staying close, constantly looking for any kind of threats.

"I don't know, but it seemed that they were turning into their animals," I said think about what we saw happening to those teenagers. "Who knows what this could mean." I mumbled to myself more than Leo.

We continued to walk in silence, grabbing the needed supplies and rushing back to the medic, once we were back at the town square Tom and a few other soldiers came and grabbed them from us.

"Thanks guys, but I think you should just leave the rest up to us now." Tom said I nodded and grabbed Leo and Turned away from the chaotic scene.

"Do you have anywhere we could go to relax a bit after all 'that'?." I asked, Leo didn't say anything but changed his grip so that he was dragging me through the thick forest, until we came to a small clearing, with a crystal clear pond and beautiful, multicoloured flowers in bloom everywhere in the clearing and as the sun was setting I could see the fireflies starting to lighten up the clearing in a lovely soft glow, Leo sat on a nearby rock and Keshia in a tree. Lahell went to the pond trying to catch anything that darted past.

"Wow, how did you find a place like this?" I asked Leo as I sat next to him on the rock, looking to him in curiosity.

"My mother would bring my here, after my father left us" Leo said a sad look coming over his lightly tanned and freckled face. I immediately regrated asking the question, and he seemed to read my mind as he said: "Oh, its ok, it was a while ago I don't even know if he is alive, so don't worry".

I nodded, and we both sat in comfortable silence, with Kisha cleaning her feathers and Lahell trying to catch any fish or creature that swam past. What was happening to those teenagers, what does this mean for everyone else that still had to summon their animals.

"What going to happen now?" asked Leo quietly

"I don't know, but things seem to be changing." I replied
