Chapter 10 Dylan

Not long after Jordan left to report the findings on the teens conditions, a servant came by to lead the rest of the party to the rooms they would be staying in for the time we would be here. The room was sizeable, large enough to have two people rooming in it, with two beds off the left of me, and too the right the was a table large enough to sit six people, and a small bathing camber beyond it, and in front was a large window nearly the size of the wall. Me and Leo ended up sharing the room with the others were further down the endless looking hallway. Both Leo and I sat at the table, silently it wasn't an awkward silence, we just sat there, contemplating what was going to happen next. Leo was staring out the window to the now night sky, and the lighted city below.

"It's very pretty" he said, breaking the silence between us. I looked out the window, the sky had less stars than that night while at Leo's home town, and the lights coming from a lively city. "Just the people enjoying themselves, with no worries under the night sky, just beautiful."

"Yeah i suppose it is." I said looking back at Leo, his blue - violet eyes shone with curiosity and sadness, it made my chest tighten, I don't want to see sadness in his eyes.

"Hey tomorrow night would you like to go and look around?" I asked nervously I don't know why, all I was asking to do was walk around town tomorrow night, but even asking that made me feel shy.
He turned towards me so fast I thought he would hurt himself, but when I looked into his eyes again the sadness was gone, replaced by excitement and that made me happy.

"Really?" He asked.
"Yeah, it beats sitting in here all night bored out of our minds." I said nearly bursting out laughing, because of his excitement just to walk through the city again. I looked to the sky, seeing the positioning of the moon, wow, that late already? "Well if you want to do that tomorrow we might want to get some sleep first."
Leo now looking to the moon nodded in agreement. "Your right."
Leo stood from his chair and walked into the small bath chamber to change, while I stared to light out some candles. When Leo remerged from the bathroom, he was wearing the silk pants and top supplied by the servant, and slid himself into the cozy double sized bed. I do that same thing once all the candles were out, now the only light source is the moon.  I started to drift off to sleep in the re-established silence.
