The next morning I was standing at the meeting point a little earlier than when I was supposed to but I was to nervous/excited. To be able to see new things other than the rundown farm lands of this town.
Sitting down at the extinguished fire from last night I waited for the rest of the travelling party, looking around the area I saw some dried blood in the dirt from the incident with the summonings.
What the hell even happened with those kids? I hope there alright. He thought to himself as since everything has occurred he hadn't been allow to see the kids and he's also be busy with preparing for today.
So engrossed with his thoughts he didn't realise that Dylan was standing in front of him now trying to get his attention.

"HEY!" He yelled out after several unsuccessful tries to capture my attention I final looked up at him confused.

"What are you doing here?" I asked as he places down his own bag next to me.

"The captain assigned me to help with the trip to the Royal city and find out what's going on." He said. "We won't get rid of each other that quickly it seems."
He grinned while I looked down at the ground my face becoming hot for some reason.

Finally looking up I saw the rest of the party had gathered around. There were two medics, five guards (including Dylan) and the leader of our little party, Jordan.

"Ok!" Jordan called out to the gathering of people going through a run through of the trip we have to take and how long it should take to reach the Royal city. "Everyone's got that?" He asked, after receiving several nods he picked up his bag and flung it over his shoulder, his face set in a stoic expression to instil confidence and safety in the group "than let's go!"

He turned and walked off in the direction of the city. And everyone formed up behind him.

"This is going to be fun isn't it?" Dylan asked walking beside me, with Lahell trotting on his other side.
Looking up at the sky I saw Kisha flying ahead above us. Lot has happened so far and it has only just begun. He wasn't sure if he should be terrified from what is to come or excited, either way he knew that things were changing in ways none of them knew how.
"Yeah, this will be fun." He replies to Dylan's question looking at him smiling as they continued on their journey the the Royal city.
