*Cal POV*

“You want me to beg don’t you” I sighed. I thought that since Luke, being the only one in a relationship at the moment, would be a good source of advice for the problem that I was having. How wrong I was.

“Well maybe just a little” Luke laughed.

“Agh! Forget it” I pout, throwing my phone onto the couch just as the television show I was watching returns from commercial.

“You take a bathroom break for two minutes” Ashton chuckles joining the rest of the gang in the living area. “What are the kids on about?” he asked Michael.

“Calum wants to ask out the girl from Warped but he’s being too CHICKEN to do it” he emphasized to make his point ever so clear to me.

“What girl from warped?” Ashton asked.

“I can never remember her name…” Michael searches his mind.

“Londyn” I sigh “Her name is Londyn! And it’s not a date, I thought she was cool, so I thought I’d get to know her better, without my nosey friends teasing me.”

“Well maybe it’s for the best” Ashton shrugs

“Ok, just because you’re dead inside doesn’t mean I have to be!” I argued.

He’d been in some kind of mood since he and his long-time girlfriend broke up a few months ago. Although he never likes to show it, I know he’s taking it hard, so I try not to pay too much attention to his moodiness. He’s a fighter so I know he’ll recover, but anyways…

“He’s got no game” Luke chimes, although playful, he may have a point seeing as I’m not exactly the outspoken one of the group.

“Honestly, I don’t even know what to say”

“Why don’t you start with something you guys have in common?” Michael suggests

“That’s actually not a bad idea” Luke adds.

“Could be worse” Ashton shrugs

“I dunno guys…”

“Well you won’t know til you try” Luke adds.

All the valid points had been made so I was only fighting myself. I grabbed my cell phone and jetted to the privacy of my room, making the possible rejection less embarrassing.

AN: Again, i am genuinely sorry about how short these chapters have been. I will work on making them longer.
