I had left the room quietly. I slowly walked down the hall to the lobby then out the exit. I took in a deep breath and slowly exhaled. "That felt nice," I told to myself. "Come out Lucario and Deerling," I said. They came out very happy. "Alright we are going to run together, but this time lets stay at about the same speed," I said.

The three of us were running at a constant pace through the early hours of the city. It felt nice, like no one could stop me. The sound of my feet hitting the pavement was calming. We neared the edge of the city and I decided that I wanted to run in the woods a little.

We entered the woods and the change of echoing sounds of my feet on the pavement to softer quieter sounds of the grass under my feet was nice. After a bit I decided we should take a break. "Here you guys should eat a little cause were gonna run back," I told them giving them both a sitrus berry I had stored in my pocket. I grabbed my water bottle and drank a little.

I closed my eyes to just listen to the world around me. I heard the wind moving the leaves. I could her my pokemon eating the berries. It felt so calming like no one could hurt me.

I opened my eyes and looked at my pokemon, "Okay lets head back-" I stopped mid-sentence because I heard a pokemon cry in pain. "Lucario do you know which direction that came from?" I asked. He nodded his. "Deerling return for now," I said. Lucario and I ran in the direction of the pokemon.

We came upon a hurt Eevee that was just lying there on the ground. It was a different color than a normal Eevee so I was suprised that it was hurt and not caught by a trainer. "Hey, don't worry I'm going to help you," I said in a soft voice to Eevee.

It flinched at my touch and backed away from me despite being hurt so badly it growled at me. I knew that I had to get that Eevee to the pokemon center quickly. "Lucario can you explain to Eevee I want to help them?" I asked Lucario. He gave a shrug telling me he would try.

Lucario stepped closer to Eevee and they backed up. Lucario got closer and Eevee backed up more. It got to a point where Eevee was backed up against a tree. Feeling trapped, Eevee attacked.

I didn't want Lucario to get hurt so I protected him, which was stupid on my part since Lucario knew protect, but it was a split second desicion I made. I got hit with a swift and my shirt was ruined, but that was the least of my worries right now. The Eevee was exhausted. "I'm sorry to do this but you need help," I said in a soft voice and quickly picked up the Eevee. They tried to fight back but was struggling to do so since they were so hurt and exhausted.

I ran back to the pokemon center and saw Ash and the others, but I didn't say hi I just ran to Nurse Joy. "Nurse Joy this Eevee really needs your help!" I said really worried as the Eevee wasn't even struggling anymore.

"I'll take care of them," Nurse Joy said.

"Thank you," I said.

"What was that about?" Ash asked.

"This morning I went on a run and I found a hurt Eevee," I explained it simply.

"Why is your shirt messed up?" Serena asked.

"I made a dumb choice that I will fix soon," I said not wanting to go into detail.

"Are you going to wait to see how the Eevee is doing?" Ash asked me.

"Yeah, you guys should go ahead, I'll catch up later," I told them. "The Eevee doesn't like people so I feel like that be best for now," I added on.

"Okay, well se you later!" Ash said.

"Bye Y/n!" Bonnie said.

Clemont and Serena gave a simple 'bye' and wave.

"You did good Lucario, you should rest," I said, returning Lucario to it's pokeball. I had went and got my stuff from the room we all stayed in last night, then sat in the lobby waiting. Not too long after Nurse Joy came back out to tell me Eevee would be just fine in a little bit, but that it was worse than a usualy case. I was happy to find that out, I wanted to make sure the Eevee was okay before leaving so I waited a little longer.

After half an hour Nurse Joy brought Eevee out on a stretcher. "Eevee is back to full health," Nurse Joy said.

"Thank you," I replied.

The Eevee's eyes were darting around looking for a way to escape. I picked them up and took them out they didn't object which made it easier for me. Once we got outside I set Eevee on the ground. "You can go now," I said. The Eevee didn't leave though, it didn't move, as if paralyzed by fear. I looked behind me. "Oh not you again!" I said seeing the same guy with purple hair.

"Is that Eevee yours?" He asked.

"Why would it matter you'd probably think it's weak," I commented remembering how he said Riolu was weak.

"And what if I didn't?" He asked.

"I'd call you out because you did not seem to change after our battle," I said. He scoffed. I rolled my eyes not wanting to deal with him. I let out Lucario. "Lets go catch up with the others," I said.

"So I can catch the Eevee?" He questioned.

I looked down at Eevee who seemed to be extremely scared. Lucario got closer to him growling. "Put your dog on a leash!" He commented.

I picked up the Eevee who didn't seem to trust many beings. "You're the one who needs a leash, as well as a muzzle," I commented. "Lucario let's go he's worth our time," I said.

"Running away?" He taunted.

"No, just walking away from someone who isn't worth the time," I said giving him a wave while letting Eevee rest on my shoulder.
