Fyi whenever (Name) is used it's what was Y/n the nme you want to use or try now will be N/n which is new name but in the next chapter it will be back to Y/n. The chapter will be in italics because I want any italics in the story be related to the side chapters which I might not do to much of

As Ash and I were waiting for our pokemon to finish healing up again I got stuck in my mind about my name. It didn't feel, right. I now I've used it for awhile but it just doesn't feel right at all lately. Maybe trying a different name could help?

"Hey Ash?" I asked.

"Yeah?" He replied.

"Instead of (Name) could you call me by N/n?" I had asked shyly.

"Uh, yeah! I think it souds even better!" He said excitedly easing my discomfort. "Hey could you tell the others for me? It's really hard for me to come out with a new name to people."

"Oh yeah! Can I do it infront of you? Should I do it somewhere else?" Ash asked wanting to know what would be best being very thoughtful.

"In front of me is great!" I had told. "The hard part is telling more than one person."

"Its okay. I may not understand it from a personal level but that doesn't mean I can't respect you. Something like that must be hard to do."

"Thank you so much Ash I apreciate this so much!"

"Should I do it now?" He asked.

"Yes!" I said getting giddy.

"Okay." He said then cupped is hands to call over the others. "Hey Clemont, Bonnie, Serena come over here!"

They came over to where Ash and I were standing. I was excited but also slightly nervous. At least now I'd hopefully see their true colors.

"(Name) just told me that he'd like to be called N/n now."

Bonnie had looked confused for a second tilted her head then asked, "Why?"

Clemont had gotten embarressed by his sister but I could understand her. "It's because (Name) doesn't feel right. You know how you get a bad feeling when something is off?" I asked her.

"Yeah," She replied.

"Well thats how my name felt but N/n feels right, well I guess I'm going to see if it feels right."

"Oh, okay!" She said finally understanding.

I heard Clemont let out a quiet but audible sigh. "If you have anymore questions, any of you feel free to ask. It's better to gain knowagde than to remain ignorant."

I felt much better after that.
