Thomas walked down to the hallway, a half smile on his face as he reached Mikky's room that she shared with the two other girls. He knew that he had the girl wrapped around his finger, rather pathetically, really, but now he had no use for her. So, he wasn't at the door for Mikky; he was there for Autumn.

As soon as the girl opened the door to the dorm room, Thomas locked lips with her forcibly, pushing her against the wall. Her eyes opened wide in shock, but she soon melted under his touch, her eyes closing and her hands running through his hair as the door opened behind them. A gasp could be heard in the small room, and Autumn's eyes snapped open before she shoved Thomas away.

"Thomas?" Mikky's soft voice was filled with hurt and betrayal, and her eyes were large as he turned around, no remorse on his features. "W-why?" He rolled his eyes and raised an eyebrow at the shocked girl.

"Oh, come on, you didn't think that I actually had feelings for you, did you? I just needed an easy way out of an internship. Your friend here helped me out a lot, seeing as she flirted with me two days ago, meaning that I knew she wouldn't be angry if I kissed her. I'm still trying to decide which of you is better at it..." Autumn's mouth was hanging open from behind him, and she swiped at his head.

"You son of a bitch!" he ducked, causing her to miss, and she cursed aloud. Mikky was slowly backing away from the entire situation, soon breaking out into a run, running away from the dorm room until she ran into Micah.

"Hey, you alright?" He asked, his voice gentle, as if she were a scared creature. "You look kind of scared, is something wrong?" a tear trickled down the side of her face, and the grassy-haired boy's face softened, and he wrapped his long arms around the girl protectively as she began to cry into his shoulder. They sat down on the side of the hallway together, and he pushed her hair out of her face before wiping a salty tear away with the pad of his thumb.

"H-he's such a jerk..." She muttered, and Micah massaged her shoulders lightly. "I should have never trusted him, that volatile prick..." a sad smile spread across the male's face, and he spoke.

"I never thought he was that great of a guy either... but hey, Miks? I'm sorry..."

Awe, so we finally got the lovebirds together. Well, almost, but we all knew Thomas was a lame-ass cheater anyways, right? Right. And big brother, why are you going around kissing Caleb's boyfriend? C'mon, dude, I'm pretty sure that's breaking like all seven layers of bro-code.

Anyways, so Juliet has been preparing for this huge surgery. I really don't want to do this part, but I have to, so:

-

The syringes were all laid out in a row, going from black to purple in a strict progression. All one Spectrum. The tall woman sat in a chair behind the desk on which they sat, and she had her hands to her chin as she thought about what was just about to happen. No one ever told her when she was a kid that a war would destroy everything that she thought would always be there for her, no one ever told her that she would have to do this to make things right again.

A scientist knocked on the door to the woman's office, and she told them to enter before turning her attention back towards the vials on the table.

"What is it?" she asked, her voice cracking slightly at the end. The white-coated male wouldn't meet her eyes, before speaking.

"Well, I have to take these now, ma'am, and you should prepare yourself for the procedure. This will be as painless as possible, I promise."

"Alright, Tate."

-

Two hours later, she found herself in a cylindrical machine, the nine colors surrounding her in both syringe form and in human form. She knew everything that she had ever done was leading up to this moment, yet she was still wanting to buy herself time. Every second she wasted was torture to everybody watching the procedure, and each person stood close to those they cared about - Talon and Gryphon were hand and hand, as was Luke (who wasn't going to leave Caleb alone) and Micah with Mikky. No one knew for sure what was going to happen, all they knew was that if the operation went well, then colors would no longer be lacking in their world. But if it went badly, then they had no idea what would happen; they only knew it wasn't good, for the scientists that scurried around them like mice insisted that they stay behind a protective barrier while the procedure was underway.

"You all must listen very carefully, for if this goes wrong I know for sure I will die. You must wait a total of five days before you leave this compound, or else you will die too - the oxygen levels in your body will be too unbalanced, and you will suffer terribly before you pass away from a slow and painful blood problem. All of you have been wonderful to get to know, although I couldn't get to know some of you as well as others, and I have no idea who the gentleman holding Caleb's hand is, but I'm sure that he's a wonderful person." Tears were streaming down her face now, as if she knew the procedure was going to go badly. "Go, goodbye." The group shuffled behind the barrier, and Mikky was crying quietly into Micah's shoulder out of fear - she didn't want Juliet to die, no one did.

"Hey," December's head popped up behind India, who jumped slightly before wrapping her arms around the girl. "I'm sorry about everything, Indie... but you have to understand it was for the greater good."

"I'm not angry, Dec. Not anymore. I'm just nervous for her..." She gestured to Juliet in the machine, and the blonde's eyes grew large.

"No... she's not doing that, is she? She can't!" right as the words were spoken, a switch was thrown somewhere behind the glass, and a earsplitting scream echoed through the air, a scream coming from Juliet in the center. December leapt forward, trying to do something to stop the machine from working, trying to do something, anything, to save her leader. Jonah and Mister Caspian held her back, however, and she kicked them, thrashing and punching them to try to make them let her go. "We can't let her do this!" she screamed, as a rainbow of color shot out, knocking everyone to the ground and causing their vision to go dark.

-

Juliet was missing one syringe, the syringe for white, causing the machine to explode. She died immediately, but the process worked. Everything was colorful again, everything was restored to its natural order. But no one could ever erase the event from the kids' minds, and no one could ever explain the mysterious crater lost inside the mountains.

Luke and Caleb dated for a year before overcoming their initial awkwardness and moving in with each other.

Micah and Mikky got married three years later, forgetting all about Thomas (not entirely) and Autumn.

Talon and Gryphon, well, they got separated after the accident and spent years trying to find each other with no prevail.

Autumn and Copper went their separate ways, Copper back to her camera and Autumn back to Todd.

Thomas got another internship, this time at a hospital. It was a janitorial internship.

India and December never vandalized another library, but still check in with each other from time to time.

If you ever see a blank spot, just something white, in your vision, know that it is because of a mixup, a lack of one vital element for the spectrum to be completed. White has been replaced with light, and causes the colors to refract.

What about me, you ask?

Well, it's time for me to go, I think.
