Chapter 11 - Wolves

From the darkness of the trees, glowing eyes emerged. One pair, two, three? Snarls and growls filled their ears all wolves crept out of the darkness towards Tyler.

Spencer and Redwood, with Shelby and Shawn on their backs, raced down the hill in front of the wolves, trying to scare them away. More and more eyes came from the darkness of the trees, there were too many wolves.

Spencer threw Tyler on his back and the dragons flew high in the sky. They flew for a few minutes before landing.

Spencer let Tyler get off of him, as all of them assumed they were safe, howls rang through the air. The wolves ran at them. Spencer dropped Shelby off of his back and ran at the wolves.

RedWood picked up Shelby and Tyler and ran while Spencer held off the wolves. Minutes passed and they waited for Spencer at the bottom of the hill.
Spencer raced down it toward as them and Shelby ran and hugged him.
     The wolves howled and raced down the hill.
     "SPENCER!" Shelby screamed and ran backwards, falling.
     The wolves toppled on top of him, he threw them off and shot plasma on the ground as a warning.
     Tyler dragged Shelby back and Shawn stood beside them with RedWood blocking them from any attacks.
     "No! Spencer! Let me go!" Shelby hollered, trying her best to break free. Tyler and Shawn held her back.
     Spencer threw off a Wolf and bit another, while RedWood opened his wings and blocked any attacks that were aimed at the three teens. The wolves toppled on top of Spencer, not and and clawing.
     A loud roar rang through the trees. A large black shape flew through the sky. It was the same shape that they had chased into the forest. A large dragon landed on the ground. I was a Night-Light (Night-Fury & Light-Fury crossbreed). It was a female that was pitch black with a white underbelly, chest, jaw, paws, tail tip, and a few markings on her wings, tails, and gliders. Her light pink eyes glowed as she landed on the ground and threw the wolves off of Spencer, roaring. RedWood jumped in, and with all of the dragons, chased the wolves away.
