Chapter 10 - On The Hunt

Shelby, Tyler, and Shawn continued to walk through the forest that morning.

"What if we never find our way back?" Tyler asked.
"I promise you that we will.." Shelby looked back at Tyler.
"And if we don't, we can make a house out here!" Shawn smiled, trying to lighten the mood.

Spencer landed on the ground in front of all of them with a loud thud.
"Did you find anything Spencer?" Shelby patted his head.
The dark dragon looked down, indicating that there was no sight of camp.

"Why doesn't RedWood try and look?" Tyler asked.
"RedWood only stays beside the lake, I know that for a fact, he wouldn't be able to find camp even if he tried.." Shawn mumbled "Plus, he would probably get lost just looking, and if he did he would be all by himself..".
"Okay then.." Tyler looked back at the ground.
"Why don't we look for some breakfast, huh?" Shelby asked.
"Okay!" Tyler smiled and walked past her into the trees ahead to look for berries.

After eating some berries, they all walked further into the direction they though camp would be in. As they continued to walk, they started to hear the sound of rushing water.

"Huh, what's that?" Spencer walked ahead and from his back, Shelby could see a waterfall.
"Look! A waterfall!" Shelby hollered.
RedWood, with Shawn on his back, and Tyler walked forward and were met with a large waterfall.
"Woah!" Tyler looked over the ledge into the small pond below, it was nothing like the lake back at camp, just a small body of water.
"Be careful Tyler!" Shawn snapped.
"It's fine, she does this type of stuff all the time.." Shelby looked back at him.
"Yeah!" Tyler smiled "I'm fine-" her foot slipped and she slid down the hill, landing on the grass beside the pond.
Shelby and Shawn looked down at her.
Tyler began laughing her head off and soon Shelby and Shawn joined in.

All of the fun was ruined when a loud howl sounded from the trees.
