Two hours later we were sat in the castle's small hospital, and Blake finally allowed people other than doctors to come see me. My arm and leg were bandaged tightly and I was propped up with too many fluffy pillows. Blake had gone overboard in his worry, but I didn't complain.

Julia was laid in another hospital room. She was fine, but just needed some rest after the amount of magic she had used.

Finally, Blake allowed Josh, Marietta, and Ben into the room to see me, but he hovered at my side and growled lowly if anyone came too close. He wouldn't let go of my hand and I could see the worry shining in his dark eyes.

I squeezed his hand gently, smiling to tell him I was okay, before turning to Mari, waiting for the promised explanation.

Mari sighed. "Okay, where to even start! Well Amelia, you know about the main points, and you've told Blake what you know, right?"

"Yes, i told him everything you and Richard, I mean Edward told me," I nodded. Blake was shocked to hear that the man from the legend was actually his father, and even more so that Richard wasn't even a real person. But he was more angry about all the times he had targeted me to gain something he wanted. It took a while to calm him down after telling him the details of that.

He was even more shocked to hear that his mother was alive and hadn't abandoned him. I couldn't tell what he really thought about that, because he kept his emotions hidden away, but through the bond I could feel that he was somewhat happy, if confused.

"Great," Mari interrupted my thoughts. "Although I do have some slight changes to make to his story. But first, Blake, id like you to meet someone..."

Walking towards the door, she holds it open as Julia walks in, leaning on a wheelchair. "Blake, my son... I'm so sorry," she says, tears streaming down her cheeks as she approaches him and holds a hand to his face.

Blake's eyes widen and he hesitates before whispering. "Mother?"

Julia smiles, the tears rolling faster. She stumbles slightly and Blake catches her before helping her sit in the wheelchair she brought in. My heart breaks for the two, finally finding each other after so long.

"Yes, darling. I will tell you everything, I swear. Just know that I never left you. You were stolen from me at birth, and I was threatened by your father to stay away. Please believe me," she begs.

Blake nods, still too shocked to say anything.

Mari wrings her hands nervously before starting the part of the story we don't know. "I met Julia through my witch friends years and years ago, but I've only recently found out who she was to you. It was shortly after the prophecy was made about you, remember?"

"The prophecy about me finding my non-vampire mate, what about it?" Blake nods, sitting by the side of my on the bed, resting his hand on my good leg. I try to sit up but he pushes me back, saying I need to rest.

"Well it was Julia who made this. Part of the prophecy was that Edward would kill your future child unless he was stopped." Mari said, sadly.

Julia takes hold of her friends hand. "Of course, I couldn't let that happen, so I made it my mission to stop Edward so that I could meet you properly, as well as meeting your mate and eventually your child," she smiled at me. "I told Edward that I wanted to see you but as soon as I mentioned your name, he took me in and wouldn't let me go. My darling, I have to apologise. I did many spells that helped Edward during this time, but I had to do it, I didn't have a choice, and I knew that Marietta would help you."

Blake nodded understandingly, leaning down to hug his mother. They held each other tight and when Blake stood up, we could see Julia wiping her tears, a huge smile stretched across her face.
