Picture: what I think Marietta looks like.
Waking up the next morning was difficult. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, so every time I woke up, I rolled over and fell back to sleep again. The fourth time of waking up, I rolled over and crashed into a very hard body. Ow...
"Oh finally! You're awake," said Blake.
"What are you doing in my room?" I asked, shocked.
"It's actually my room; it's my house," he said, getting up. I couldn't disagree there I suppose... "Get dressed. I'm introducing you to everyone." He then left me alone to get ready.
I went to shower, and when I came out I walked to the closet to get dressed. There wasn't too much choice, but I figured I could wear something casual, so I put on some skinny, high waisted black jeans, a red t-shirt and a pair of fluffy socks. I left the room feeling comfortable and awake.
Blake was stood there waiting for me, leant against the wall. Damn... in my sleepiness I hadn't noticed how hot he looked. He wore a black suit today, with a white shirt, the top few buttons left undone. His hair was messy, but somehow looked smart at the same time. I realised I was staring and looked away, trying not to blush.
He smirked at me, and I knew he saw, but thankfully didn't comment, only asking if I was ready and walking down the corridor.
"Sooo...Sir? What am I actually here for?" I figured I may as well get my answers now.
"To keep my parents happy," he replied, simply.
"That's it? Not for blood or... anything?" I was going to say fück buddy, but figured I'd be nice.
"No. I won't be drinking from you. Yesterday was just to shut my parents up. Now hush, we will talk about that shortly. Amelia, I would like you to meet Chris. He's head chef here. Chris, this is Amelia."
"Nice to meet you, Amelia." He said, smiling at me, as we entered the kitchen. He was cute, with brown shaggy hair and a grin that would make anyone smile. "You can come down here whenever you like, you know. I'll cook for you any time!" He was smiling at me in an obviously flirty way. It was a shame I wouldn't be here much longer.
"I'll definitely remember that, thanks Chris!" I laughed. Blake grumbled under his breath and pulled me away, muttering something about me meeting other people. Someone got grumpy all of a sudden! What was up with him?!
We walked a bit more, down a couple of flights of stairs and into a large room of 10 girls sat around playing cards and chatting. They all looked up when Blake and I came in. Each of them stood up and bowed their heads, only a couple of them looking up again after a couple of seconds.
"Ladies, this is Amelia. She's my pet," he said to them, before turning to me. "I'll leave you to meet them, I have to go deal with someone."
I nodded and he walked away. Once he had gone, the girls relaxed and came over to me, introducing themselves. I'd never remember all their names!
"It's nice to meet you all, it might take me a while to remember all your names though!" I told them.
"Oh it's okay!" One girl said. I think she was called Megan. "So when did you get here?"
