Okay, actually maybe.
For one thing, Turtle is now invulnerable to firescales, so I guess that's alright.
And, honestly, the benefit from each other. Turtle is nice to Peril and also helps her stop being violent and making rash decisions. Peril is able to fight and actually do things while Turtle would rather stay hidden in the shadows.
But neither of them actually show any feelings for each other. So that's out.
That, and Peril might totally overpower Turtle in this situation.
