After the Human Cavalry Battle, Todoroki pulled Amamiya away to a secluded place near the exit to the locker rooms. Amamiya's glasses were a little dusty, so he had taken them off.

"So...what is it? What do you want to say? If we dawdle here the mess hall will probably get super crowded..." Amamiya hesitantly stated, only to be met by a harsh glare from Todoroki.

Todoroki stepped closer to get a closer look at his face.

This is different from Kacchan, the air of intimidation is much colder...

"Your glasses...they don't have any power. Care to explain?" Todoroki had his suspicions about Amamiya, but this was too much now. He cringed at the fact that he never noticed Amamiya's obvious slip-ups before.

"Ah, those are just for show...?" Amamiya wanted this to be a statement, but such was the atmosphere that it ended up being a question.

"UA doesn't allow any sort of fancy accessories...which includes glasses which are just for show."

"..." Amamiya just gave a stare.

"After all, you sound like him a lot. Your habits, your handwriting, everything matches up."

"I don't know who you're referring to, but I think you've mistaken me for somebody else." Amamiya denied.

"What I felt from you was the same. Something too similar..." Todoroki paused for a brief moment, "You're Izuku Yagi, or you are in some way connected to him. Even though you deny it, I can't see the same thing being conveyed by your eyes..."

"I'm sorry Sh-Todoroki, I really am, but I don't know who you're talking about..." Amamiya had managed to get a genuine look of concern on his face, which was again met by cold glare.

"Don't apologize. Unless you truly mean it." Todoroki left him to go to the mess hall.

Unknown to them, somebody was eavesdropping on the conversation.

I could've just told him...but now isn't the right time for it... We need to sort this out once this festival is over.

After the noonday break was over the next event, the 1v1 battles were announced.

"We have 17 people moving on to our last and final round!!" Present Mic proclaimed, signalling people to move back to their places as the show was about to start.

Ojiro and Shoda had withdrawn from the round as they thought that it was unfair because they couldn't remember anything from the previous round. However, Aoyama didn't.

"All right! I'll choose the match-ups with a lottery, and then you guys will have 15 minutes to your self to decide your strategies!" Midnight stated.

There were two groups, A and B. Group A had 8 people and group B had 9. They would fight within themselves and the last two who would emerge victorious with fight off against each other.

Round 1 (Group A) :

Kirishima vs Tetsutetsu

Monoma vs Aoyama

Kendo vs Bakugo

Uraraka vs Ashido

The results:

In Kirishima and Tetsutetsu's match, both of them fought effortlessly with unparalleled defences and rock hard hits. Due to their similar quirks, no conclusion could be drawn and Kirishima moved on to the next round by winning an arm-wrestling match against him.

In Monoma and Aoyama's match, Aoyama overused his quirk in the first 5 minutes, and all that was left to do was push him outside the white line.

In Kendo and Bakugo's match, Kendo couldn't grab Bakugo because he used his explosions to get out. She did, at one point, try to yeet him away, but Bakugo flew over her and landed a kick on her face. It was very brutal, to say the least.

Uraraka and Ashido's match didn't involve much usage of their quirks. It was more like a fistfight, which Ashido managed to win.

Round 1 (Group B):

Momo vs Kaminari

Iida vs Sero

Todoroki vs Juzo

Shinsou vs Amamiya

Eri (Default) *but she doesn't get an advantage don't worry

Momo and Kaminari's match was done in two minutes. Kaminari tried to go all out but Momo already had a sheet draped over her before the electric charge could knock her out, and a short-circuited Kaminari was useless.

In Iida and Sero's match, Sero taped Iida's legs up when he was announcing his morals and his will to defeat his classmate and whatnot. The match was short and sweet and ended when Sero flung Iida out with his tape.

In Todoroki and Juuzo's match, Juuzo didn't even stand a chance. He was instantly frozen the second he entered, ending the match.

And now onto the present match, Shinsou versus Amamiya.

Cementoss repeated the general rules, adding the fact that should any of them commit an act which will endanger the life of the other, they would be disqualified.

Present Mic called Amamiya 'somebody who had done well for the past 2 rounds' and Shinsou an 'Underdog'. Underdog meaning that he's a player who hasn't showcased the tricks up his sleeves yet.

The match started, with the two boys standing as far away from each other as they could.

Shinsou looked Amamiya in the eyes, "Don't you get it, this is a battle to test your heart. If you have a strong vision for your future, then you cant fret over how you realise it. That chimp friend of yours, don't you think he's a retard for flushing his chances away?"

Amamiya just shrugged from the other end.

Shinsou didn't know anything about his quirk. From what he saw in the previous round, he assumed that it was some gravity quirk, given his last jump to evade Todoroki.

He cautiously moved forward.

Amamiya didn't react to it.

The crowd began to murmur. This match was one of the slowest ones. Some people dissed Amamiya saying that he was toying with his opponent because, from the looks of it, it was obvious that he was trying very hard to stay serious.

Shinsou took a running start, "People like you will never understand what we go through every day."

Amamiya waited for him to reach halfway, and then gave a smile and looked him in the eyes.

The crowd gasped as Shinsou tripped over, unable to move.

Amamiya walked towards the immobilized boy and crouched down with nothing but a smile on his face.

"To answer your question, I don't care about my classmates in the slightest. And about people like you, you should be happy with what you have; Not everybody has what you have." Amamiya whispered close to his ear, ensuring nobody heard them.

Soon after that moment, the match came to an end with Amamiya as the winner.

A/N: I know it's short, but there's gonna be more in the next few hours.
