"We have our next set of matches from group A!" Present Mic announced for the crowd to hear.

Round 2 (Group A) :

Kirishima vs Monoma

Ashido vs Bakugo

The results:

Kirishima and Monoma's match was quite like the match in the last round, but because Monoma's copied ability only lasted for about 5 minutes give or take, the boy was slowly getting tired and Kirishima won.

Ashido and Bakugou's match was one worth seeing. Ashido's main objective was to burn Bakugou's hand, which kept him occupied for the whole duration of the match. Ashido should've won because she was very agile, with well-practised movements. It was almost like a dance of sorts since every punch, kick or jab was in a rhythm. If only she could've distracted Bakugou enough to push him out because when he realised he was slowly getting cornered, he let out a big explosion, which knocked her out.

Round 2 (Group B) :

Sero vs Todoroki

Momo vs Eri

Amamiya vs the person who wins in the match above

The results:

Todoroki swept away his competition. Literally. Like the moment Sero entered the field, he knew that he wasn't going to survive. Todoroki's eyes looked bloodthirsty, and before he could've even tried to make a move, he was frozen. And, he just accepted the fact and didn't even try.

Momo on the other hand also went in for the kill on her first try. She tried to stun Eri using a stun grenade, who dodged it and charged forward. Momo threw several of those grenades, each one of them being dodged, although the last one did affect her. Momo took that window of opportunity and created a long metal pole to knock her out, but Eri was still conscious enough to rewind it away.

The match continued, as Eri had rewinded her own body to heal herself, while Momo couldn't create any lethal weapon to hurt her.

As Momo created various other things to knock her out, he began running out of lipids, which tired her and Eri knocked her out.

And lastly, Amamiya vs Eri. For all the first-year heroics teachers, especially Eraserhead, this was a long-awaited match. A match between two recommended students, recommended by Eraserhead and All Might.

Amamiya certainly lived up to his reputation of being recommended by one of the strictest teachers in the history of UA. Although, his classmates didn't know that he was recommended since he showed up on the first day of school, instead of the second. He didn't want to draw much attention.

On the other side, nobody knew much about Eri, she was friendly, sometimes passive-aggressive, throwing snarky remarks around, but she meant well.

Eri was determined to win. Amamiya was one of the strongest guys in her class, but she wasn't going to back down just because of that fact.

Cementoss announced the rules again, and the match started.

As Amamiya knew she was his successor, or so he assumed, he wanted to play around see what she had learnt. He could just freeze time whenever he wanted if things got too out of hand.

Eri seemed like a nice girl, she was on the news 3 years ago after she was rescued from the villains. She didn't seem to have One for All yet since she hadn't shown any signs of possessing it till now. Though, there's no problem with being too careful.

Eri started coming towards him in a slow but cautious manner. He knew that if he came in contact with her, he'd be a goner for sure but he didn't know how dangerous she could prove to be.

So, he turned invisible.

Eri whipped her face around to check if he decided to ambush her from the back. Her reflex was so fast that Amamiya thought that her neck would crack.

He saw her very confused face, looking around to see where he went. After she confirmed that he wasn't visible, Eri stayed put in the same spot, concentrating on the sound around her.  He heard her sigh in disappointment and contemplate her next actions.

She spread her arms out like it was a game of blind hide and seek.

If Amamiya could laugh, he would've but this situation wasn't allowing him to. He could only snicker silently.

This confirmed his suspicions that she didn't have the quirk and that she could only channel her quirk through her hands.

That didn't make it any less troublesome though. He decided against Chronic Manipulation, the best card up his sleeve. Instead, he crept up behind her and put her to sleep by touching her temples and activating his quirk, becoming visible while doing so.

"Sleep Tight."
