My eyes opened wide as the darkness around me spun and moved at high speeds. I sat up, getting tossed a second, before gripping the metal bars below me. All around me a musty and strange smell filled the damp air.

I felt myself let out a loud scream as flashes of light lit up the area I was in, what seemed like a box, which felt like it kept moving faster and faster. I screamed louder when another yell was called out, from the same box I was in.

I turned in a circle, as my eyesight blurred, trying to find the person that screamed. My chest felt like it was about to explode, and something wet was running down my face. Something I could only give a name to as 'tears.'

I couldn't remember why I was here, or how I got here. I knew my name but I couldn't remember anything else. Which scared me the most, I didn't know anything except what things were.

And right now things were rushing up at high speeds.

My body jerked up and rolled to the side as the box stopped abruptly, a red, then green light shining down on us. I lost my focus on the face, and a few crates in the corner shifted around, flying like I had. For a few moments, the only noise was our breathing and occasional sniffling. I layed there for a moment, recollecting myself, before flipping my hair out of my face and sitting up.

I looked at the boy across from me, and he looked back. Before I had a chance to study him, a loud screech broke my gaze, as light from above started swallowing me. I blindly made my way behind a few boxes, scared of what was above.

Whatever it was, I envied the boy's courage. To sit there, looking up, as who know's what looked back. Maybe ready to pounce, or rip his head off, or maybe there wasn't anything at all. But, against my wishes, I had a strong sense there was going to be something out there.

I curled myself into a little ball, telling myself this wasn't real. And if it was, I had to be missing something. I was, in fact. About a billion different memories.

I put my hands over my head and waited for this dream to be over, or for an explanation. Sadly, the only thing that came was the sound of feet slamming into the metal bars on the ground of the box.

I peeked over a crate, and watched silently, holding my breath. A boy had jumped from above, where many others were looking over. He had light, sandy blonde hair, looked tall, and was too focused on the boy to notice me.

"Hello Greenie." He smiled, and walked towards the boy. The boy looked as scared as I was, but he was also looking around, trying to find me.

"Where'd she go?" He stood up as I noticed his features. He was tall too, not as tall as the other boy, but still tall. His hair was brown, I think the same shade as mine, and he was wearing a blue shirt.

"Mate?" The blonde boy asked in a friendly way, looking around like the other boy was. That's when we made eye contact.

Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap.

I ducked my head low, hoping he didn't see me, but when I peeked back up, the blonde boy was walking towards me. He was getting close, and I didn't know how he'd react to me. I had one option.

With one quick jump, I leaped over the crates and ran into him, slamming him into the wall opposite of where I had been hiding. I heard many gasps above me as I pressed my forearm against his collarbone, stopping him from moving as my face hovered inches from his.

I was still breathing heavily, as I studied him. I expected him to look scared, but he didn't. He kind of just looked down at me, and didn't try to fight back, as he watched my eyes switch from both of his. I felt weirdly connected to him, like he was familiar.
